Hey, the new William Hung EP is available at the iTunes music store. It has "Rocket Man," "I Believe I Can Fly," "Free," and the ever popular "She Bangs!" I've got a bunch of Pepsi-related free songs stacked up, but I'm not sure if I can bring myself to buy it after the wonder of the Clay and Kelly concert. I do admire his spirit, though...

Gee, that was fast! They didn't waste any time with William, did they? By the way, glad you enjoyed the concert! It sounds like it was great! I wish I could catch them... *sigh* But maybe next time they'll come closer to Erie. :halo:

I can't decide if this year's country night was better or worse than last year's. I remember last year being really dreary on the whole. Simon certainly was miserable. I thought Clay was perfectly fine, though I thought he seemed rather frazzled. But a third of the way through tonight I thought this year was way better than last year, but it started to go downhill after that. There were some good performances later on, but most of them were kinda lackluster. My favorite tonight was John Stevens. He's probably my favorite contestant; I've really had an eye on his since his first audition. I'm certainly not drooling over him the way I was with Clay, but I think he's adorable and tonight's performance was just terrific in spite of the fact that he forgot the words. In fact, it was like Clay with "Vincent" last year; I didn't even realize he had forgotten the words. He certainly covered himself well. Camille was my least favorite of the night. I couldn't even understand the words a lot of the time; they kinda ran together, and I don't think she had much breath control at all tonight. She's never really done it for me. If it were me, I'd say she should go next, but since she wasn't in the bottom three last week I don't know how likely that is. Then again, Amy did really well, and Jennifer did a pretty nice job too. So who knows...

You actually liked Jennifer?! Wasn't she the one that did "Nowhere Else on Earth"? Yechh..... Then again, if you don't have anything nice to say, its better to say nothing at all... and I will invoke that right now.

I told myself I wouldn't watch the show anymore after that insult of a wild card show, but its kind of like a black hole that keeps sucking you in whether or not you want to watch it or not.

Pretty good tonight, I thought. I liked John Stevens as well, and I thought many of the contestants did a really nice job. As always, voted lots for George. Actually, this was the first time I really enjoyed Fantasia as well--it was nice to see her sing a slower song, and she did a good job with it.

I didn't think Jennifer's was a particularly stellar performance, but I didn't think it was bad either, and I kinda like her. I'm thinking she's not going to make it past the halfway mark though.

I voted a couple times for George too. He's just got such a great personality, and he's very talented too. And I agree, it was definitely my favorite Fantasia performance thus far. I thought she did a really nice job. One problem with me, though, is if they're singing a song I like I'm automatically biased in their favor. If they really screw it up (like I think Camille did) then that won't hold, but generally my favorite performances of the night tend to be of songs I already like.

Yup--me too. I guess that's why song selection is so important. I wonder if the contestants sit around thinking "I wonder if Andy will like this song?"

I usually like John Stevens, but I thought he was lacking last night. I like "King of the Road," but he just didn't do it for me.

I really like Jon Peter, Amy, and George. Oh, and Jasmine.

I agree about the song selection thing (that is, if they do a good job with it).

I'm glad they got the country night out of the way. It's always boring.

I thought that George Huff was awesome as was Fantasia and Amy. I'm glad Fantasia put Simon in his place. Lately it seems like he is stretching for criticisms.

My choices for the bottom three tonight are John Stevens (I hope he goes home......he's SOOOOOO boring!......all though his performance last night was much better than last week's), Camille, and Jasmine Trias.

p.s. Paula must read this message board because did you notice her hair is longer and darker? Just like I commented about a couple weeks ago..........she is so hot! :flirt:
