There's some kid's book that comes to mind... it was by James Marshall.... and it was about this teacher who disguised as a witch or something to get her students to behave...
Wasn't that the "Miss Nelson" series? "Miss Nelson is Missing", et al? That was probably my favorite series growing up. Too bad half my classmates probably took the misbehaving thing literally...
