So it’s finally come to this- 1000 posts since I joined very tentatively last December which makes an approximate rate of 4.3 posts a day, don’t you know. Which by my maths means I am presently one of 55 senior members listed and I’ve joined a pretty select group!
Anyway, I couldn’t have made it without:
The Moppet Family: 38 posts but hopefully my 38 funniest and most worthwhile – I’ve really felt one of the gang here since I started as Mr Harvey, colleague and friend to Mr Moppet at Wilson’s .. erm.. whatever. A special thanks to Beauregard for this thread.
Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester: A fun thread which I don’t post in often enough but you gotta love Johnny and Sal’s dialogue and I write it when I chance – it was good to come back in to do the 3000 Post Party. I know The Count puts in a lot of work and it's great to drop in and see whats been going on. 12 posts worth of it so far.
The Roleplay Threads: More threads I don’t make enough use of but it’s nice to take on a role of one of the Muppets: Pops in “The Muppets in Oz” with only 5 posts but the Newsman aka The Headliner in The Supper Heroes game (4 posts to date).
The Action Figure Board: I got my first couple of Action Figures round about when I started posting on the forum having discovered them on the site and my enthusiasm and collection have both grown. Who knows we may get Sal yet (although recently I’ve been thinking that Uncle Deadly and the Penguins won’t even come!)
The Fan-Fiction Community: So I haven’t contributed anything yet but I’ll get around to it some day soon. I’ve got behind just now but I love reading all your stories and trying to offer advice in my own small way. We have some really talented writers here and it’s great that you share your skills with us. The Advice thread was a great idea and I have a few more posts to add to it.
Muppets Big Brother: which I didn’t start, am ridiculously under qualified to run but stepped into to try and keep it alive for the players and I’ve been rewarded by being able to read some great dialogue and your inventive attempts at my tasks. My posts as Little Brother (20 at the time at writing) have been fun and you really are all winners!
The Games Board: where admittedly the vast majority of my posts are in such threads as Muppet Wheel of Fortune (183 posts); Muppet 20 Questions (131 posts); Muppet Geography (73 posts); "Best of"/"Worst of" (66 posts) and all of the others. An honourable mention goes to The Obvious Game (25 posts) which is still my personal favourite. Thanks to all of those who regularly post in the games and follow the rules and also to our Games Master and most excellent moderator Fozzie Bear.
And finally to thanks to all of you other posters and great MCers; there is always something new to read, laugh at, think about, join in with or enjoy!
And remember, if it’s between a Muppet Cabbage and This be no intercom, this be a payphone! then I’ve probably written it…
