It sounds to me like what they're doing is getting rid of a handful of segments and replacing them with a 2nd street story. We'll get the new animated segment but no more foodie truck, abby segment, Elmo segment or inserts (not that they show many these days anyways) Kind of like the 2 episodes...

If you want the truth, I can see all 3 of those characters having more of an "edge" to them has they been introduced in the early seasons

I loved Oscar's reaction to Tango chewing up the slipper. Would have been nice to see preposterous make a comeback for this episode. But that's wishful thinking.

I kept thinking they were gonna mention something about slimey since Oscar did appear in the episode, in his can. But they didn't. Would have been nice if Oscar would have mentioned Telly's not afraid of slimey and telly could have mentioned slimeys a "different kind of worm" he's cute and cuddly.

This was overall the most "classic" feeling episode I've seen in a very long time. Telly in a starring role with his old worry wart ways. Gordon being around. And mentioning how he used to be a teacher. And a reference to an episode from the 90s. This episode almost seems like a little treat...

For the past 5 years Telly and Snuffy have been getting pushed into the background so I could see with the new season a new format them getting pushed into the background even more and maybe Marty even retiring soon and both characters being retired along with him.

I wonder if they received a lot of complaint letters from parents for the lack of Telly.
