Love them all, but I always had a soft spot for Robin. Love the Muppet Show episode with Bernadette Peters with him singing "Just One Person". That song has been playing back in my mind since I've heard the news about Jerry Nelson's passing... (((((((((((((((((
I just want to express my deepest regards to Jerry as well. My prayers go to his family and friends. Rest in peace Jerry, you will always be loved and missed by muppet fans all over the world.. :sing:
:D
Reminds me of the MS episode with Alice Cooper.
:attitude:: You, sir, are a demented, sick, degenerate, barbaric, naughty freako!
Alice: Why thank you!!!
I just remembered a great little number Fozzie did with Richard Hunt's Snowman in 'The Muppet Family Christmas':
:o: Ah, Christmas, time for Santa Clause and his eight fancy rein-bear.
Snowman: Actually, that's reindeer.
:o: No, that's snow, darling!
And another one:
:o: Hey, that's pretty...
Here's another great buddy combo we forgot about, for some reason: :boo:
And here's another (thanks, Cap, as а if that's a news): :confused::eek:
Hello, everyone!
I am from Russia (which is why my nickname references one of the muppets from a Russian 'Sesame Street' co-production), and I've known the muppets since childhood, when they used to show 'The Muppet Show' and 'Fraggle Rock' on Russian TV (that was around early 90's, as far as...
Two words: Miss Piggy. The hottest pig ever! Loved her as a kid, still love her now.
I've also always felt strange attraction to Red :excited: and Mokey :dreamy:
Cotterpin Doozer :busy: always seemed very nice to me, too, with all her rebellious dreaminess and un-doozery attitude...
I think Pepe and Seymour from 'The Muppets Tonight' was a hilarious couple as well:
- I'm Pepe!
- I'm Seymour!
- We're two of a kind!
- I'm a little bit forward
- And I've got a big behind! :D
This duo was one of the best things about 'The Muppets Tonight', and pity Seymour never reappeared...
Are we discussing Fozzie's best joke or his worst one, heh-heh? I guess with Fozzie that is the same thing - the worse his jokes are, the more you enjoy them :o :D
I love the whole routine he did with Milton Berle while singing 'Top Banana'.
Also, always loved the 'for the halibut' bit :D
I'm watching this show on youtube now (it's a pity it isn't available elsewhere, except for a few specials like Dog City that were released on DVD), I have yet to see about 5-6 episodes out of 12, but I'm really enjoying it. Love the experimental nature of the show, love the creature gimmicks...
