A thread where we try to remember/identify comedy sketches & shorts that aren't from anything Henson or Muppet-related. Let me start: I vaguely remember seeing something on I think it was Nickelodeon done in VeggieTales-style CGI animation. It showed a bunch of cute cartoon characters (mice...

People in the small town I live in can be very rude and obnoxious at times. I was at the local dollar store yesterday when I heard someone yell at the top of his lungs to his wife, "Let's get out of this sh*thole, honey!". They were even standing directly next to the cashier when he blurted that...

Remember when I bashed Family Guy for their mean spirited "joke" about Terri Schiavo? Y'know, the one that made me stop watching the show for a solid year. Well believe it or not, someone out there has done a cruder, meaner and much more awful parody of that particular subject matter. To the...

Yes, I did.

Rick Astley is 52 years old. That really surprises me because he still looks good for his age. Despite his age, Rick is to this day probably the most faithful guy in Hollywood. I mean, the guy's no stranger to love. He knows the rules, so do I. A full commitment is what he's thinking of. You...

This one always made me cry when I was younger:

This song is beautiful. Ever since I first heard it, it's wonderful and mystical nature has always been somewhat of a tear jerker to me. It just has this unusual otherworldly feel to it that makes it sound majestic in my opinion. It always gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it and never fails...

Some hilarious YouTube video of random people calling up local access shows with live broadcasts and asking them ridiculous questions about the obscure video game, Battletoads. I'm not going to post the video because it has a lot of NSFW language in it, but it's still really funny if your mature...

Guess what I discovered today? There is a lost Robot Chicken sketch. Being a huge fan of both Robot Chicken and lost media, hearing this intrigued me very much. The skit was supposed to be a mashup between Survivor and Gilligan's Island which is a very funny concept. For unknown reasons, it got...

The Avengers:Infinity War is coming next week. Being the huge fan of superheroes and crossovers I am, I have been totally stoked for this movie since it was first revealed and have been eagerly waiting it's release ever since. I can't wait too eventually see this mass crossover of epic...

WE GOT A NEW PUPPY TODAY! We haven't named him yet but he's adorable and also very sweet, curious, and fun to watch with his little puppy rowdiness. I already like him a lot despite having just met him less than an hour ago, and I have a good feeling that he will help fill that dog-shaped hole...

I wonder what film series in the history of cinema has had the most sequels (counting direct-to-DVD ones). I'd say that not counting films that have been adapted into different spin-offs like Batman and Godzilla, it's probably The Land Before Time. But I could be wrong.

Years ago, I thought of some silly [adult swim]-type show called "Drop Dead Funny" featuring cartoon ghosts that play mean spirited (no pun intended) pranks on animated versions of celebrities and fictional characters. I don't think I came up with names for the characters though. The idea was...

This song is already sad enough in of itself but affects me too because I had this friend who was practically a sister to me years ago. She loved this song and when her dad died at a very young age, she played this song at his funeral: It's always been a song that's made me cry but ever since...

This Little Big Town song right here. Something about it is just beautiful and heartwrenching:

I have another one:What about a Big Bang Theory spinoff where Sheldon's mom and Leonard's mom move into an apartment together and become room mates. With their distinct differences in personality, it would be like the Odd Couple. Think about it: Sheldon's Mom - A happy, upbeat Christian woman...

Oooh, I got one. What about a live-action anthology series that features television adaptions of various creepypastas. It could be like an adult version of Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of the Dark? but using well known Internet stories. Not only would it entertain a ton of people but it would...

This really funny quote someone posted on Twitter, "I don't use ancestry.com to discover where my past ancestors were from. I just watch a bunch of racist cartoons and see which ones **** me off the most,". LOL!

I forgot about Mr. Bimbo. It's funny because when I first read your post I thought you were talking about a character from "The Mr. Men Show". Someone from another forum I'm on is obsessed with that show so I've been hearing about it quite a bit lately. Funny how things like that work lol.

As I mentioned on the [adult swim] thread yesterday, I'm a fan of Drawn Together. Was it gross? Yes. Offensive? Certainly. Bizarre? Absolutely! But it was also quite intriguing to me at the same time. The show was torn apart by critics and has many haters to this day, but I still enjoy it. You...
