Frank Oz' latest performance as Cookie Monster

There's a song airing in the next couple of weeks that, I'm pretty sure, has Frank doing Grover, so we know he doesn't exclusively do Grover/Johnson bits these days with him.

Audio: CeeLo Green's "All I Need is Love" with The Muppets

I decided to splurge and get the mp3; I don't think I'll regret it.

Pre-Order Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 (1979-1984) coming to DVD 11/6

I found another review that claims some segments have been removed for music rights. Unless they were referring to the theme song, I can't think of any that are actually non-Sesame songs except the Cab Calloway bit from #1576 and the Beethoven number from #1446.

Some of us are trying to avoid that; the fun is in the surprise

    Lots of MUP3's, Wanna Trade?

    That's great, thanks!

    Lots of MUP3's, Wanna Trade?

This sounds like a long shot, but does anyone have the SSL song "Telephone Talk"?

Sesame Street Live: Can't Stop Singing

Aren't Ernie and Bert in the show with a number of their own?

What is your least favorite Muppet Movie?

I don't really see any project as the "worst"; there are some I consider boring and don't intend to watch as much, but that's mostly specials. Of the original three, MTM is my least favorite because it's not as funny as the previous two (GMC especially, which is my favorite, despite its flaws [I...

Your Thoughts: Jerry Nelson Tribute at The Moving Image Museum

There was obviously more, the user stated before they couldn't record much, so they mostly got the intros. Snuffy's video was heartbreaking.

Speculation: Potential Sequel for "The Muppets"

Considering it came straight from the horse's mouth (Dave), it's true.

Pre-Order Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 (1979-1984) coming to DVD 11/6

Oh, so Fonzie's just in a promo then? That makes sense; a sketch with him was on the last set. As I said, another recent Sesame DVD had full episodes, but lacked the theme song, so I don't think it's music rights; I think it's just an odd move they're trying to do. It's a shame they'd do it on...

Pre-Order Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 (1979-1984) coming to DVD 11/6

I don't think it's a music rights issue; the reviewer just made it sound that way.

Pre-Order Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 (1979-1984) coming to DVD 11/6

That's a shame. The episodes on "Elmo's Magic Numbers" didn't have themes either, but you'd think they'd have them on this kind of release. I'm assuming the Fonzie bit was a Noggin edit; I don't see any other explanation for it being on the set. Also, if you ask me, I'd say that while SS...

Pre-Order Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 (1979-1984) coming to DVD 11/6

Welp. Shows what I know! It could be one of their early 80's bits then, like the cookbook or telephone lecture.

Pre-Order Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 (1979-1984) coming to DVD 11/6

Apparently, "In and Out" is from 1984 and done by Luis, remade in the 90's by Maria, so it counts.

Pre-Order Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 (1979-1984) coming to DVD 11/6

He mentions that the clips run just under an hour; the clips I could identify from his review add up to around 20 minutes, so there's clearly a half-hour left or so. The image he has of the behind-the-scenes menu has a "More" button, which means there could be more than just hose four excerpts...

Kinect Sesame Street TV coming soon

If you can ignore the young man trying to be funny with his voice-over, this video has footage of some new stuff with Ernie and Bert: I don't know about you, but that's classic E&B material right there.

Pre-Order Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 (1979-1984) coming to DVD 11/6

DVDTalk posted a review: http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/58047/sesame-street-old-school-volume-3/ It doesn't mention Sonia's commentary, but I'm sure that's a fluke on his part. But it's a shame there doesn't seem to be as many bonus clips as previous releases. But whatever "Trash Outta...

Rumor: New Sesame Street Movie in the Works

No one can say that's not what Jim would've done; bluescreen was basically the main thing he did JHH for.
