Totally. Just because there's no theme doesn't mean it's a bad set. There's a great mix of excellent material, rare material and behind-the-scenes supplements.

Both this set and the 40 Years DVDs, the clips look very dark for some reason. And it's not just a screen thing, it's definitely the clips themselves. It's not as bad on this set though. However, "Coconut Counting Man" looks awful.

Apparently, they only showed the aftermath episodes, so Kermit and Al were omitted.

Um. This was a blessing in disguise for you. Besides, the CD is just audio from the special itself, not the recordings or anything. You're just as well off ripping the songs from the DVD and converting them to mp3.

Picked up my copy; liking what I see so far! I perusing the bonus features first; The Chaplin bit was actually very funny. I kinda wish they'd had more segments on here; as much as there are repeats from the 40 Years disc and stuff online, it's great they still could put some rare bits like that...

I had a feeling they would just air the "Friends to the Rescue" video, but nope, they re-edited the whole thing from scratch. That's great of them.
