I believe the issue would be with the fact that was it was released on an album ("Somebody Come and Play"), so WMG probably has the rights to the album, and thus, the track.

All I know so far is there's going to be some sort of special hashtag to get fans to share their love of the show (I forget what it is) and there's a jazz concert sometime early 2019 at Lincoln Center.

Probably one of the better ones of the season. Nice to see Baby Bear around, and a unique pairing with Rudy. And Grundgetta! Is it me or was Pam kind of toning down her voice?

I saw this a couple of months ago on Instagram, but just photos at an event; anywho, here's a look at the logo SW intends to use for their 50th Anniversary branding: https://www.behance.net/gallery/64955555/Sesame-Street-50th-Anniversary-Branding http://mattsoncreative.com/work/sesame-street-50th

Here's some video: I thought Matt sounded good. But yeah, pick a new song.

Meh. It's weird to me that they had Jen doing the sheep instead of the Gladys puppet, but whatever. And Simon Soundman was seen for like two seconds at the very beginning. Did they plan to actually use him? It's weird to me that they'd go through the trouble of putting him together for a...

It seems so; it will still be made availible on streaming and on demand this weekend, though.

I don't know. I asked someone about it last summer and it didn't seem like a formal idea was in place yet. With their new show coming up soon ("Esmae and Roy"), I think they're gonna concentrate on that before moving forward with a new Sesame production.

I don't know where the information came from and I'm not gonna speculate or anything. Don't question, just be thankful.

Yes, they have wrapped.

It might be nice if PBS re-ran the Evening at Pops shows the Sesame cast did in '71 and 2001.

Honestly, I don't mind someone else doing Bunsen for this thingy. It's an interactive goo-gah, and really, Dave could only record so many things in advance for it to say. I doubt the average Disney visitor is gonna say, "Hey! That doesn't sound like Bunsen!"

I guess Cookie has some funny lines in the story, and it was nice seeing Ernie in the intro. But, the plot was kinda the same thing as the Super Grover bit in the same episode, so...redundant? Interesting to see the re-used Bert song. The only shot trailing from the bike to his head from behind...

I doubt it. It doesn't really sound like it. Also, that song and "Beginning Middle End," which was a spoof of "And She Was," were written by the same team (Chris Cerf and Sarah Durkee). I doubt they'd do two spoofs of the same song within a couple of years of each other.

Yeah, I've only seen a few photos and a couple of articles that don't describe much about the event. And no video either. Bah. There was nothing online about that PuppetPalooza panel from earlier in the year either. What's the deal, man.

No, you're misreading it. Hoots is mentioned as previously performing with Wynton Marsalis on the show. Marsalis is performing at the concert, so they just threw in some history.

Apparently, they plan on rebranding Channel Awesome as "Nostalgia Critic."
