    Luke...I am your father...

Oooooooooh PVC Penguins !!!!!! Thanks for letting us know Ken - i wonder if their flippers articulate ? They are a bit sinister looking aligning themselves with that 'Penguin' dude from Batman but with a little pair of shades, a scarf and a spinning bow-tie i'm sure i could rehabilitate...

    My Puppet Group

Hey Warrick, Congratulations these are beyond superb - i love them. Mervil is my favourite as well, and he compliments Gnu and Urk perfectly. I could really see these characters in a TV show one day and you being under the desk. Fantastic !!!!! This is what i LOVE seeing - Muppet fans...

    snoop no more!

LOL - i love the 'due to production reasons' bit *cough* *cough*. I think you'll find that a smart PR person decided that having him in could turn out to be a bit of a PR disaster. I've never heard in my LIFE of a press release to annouce thirty minutes of footage being cut from something...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Yeah it'll be Cata-strophic !!!! We can do TV adverts with Ken dressed up as Batman and Travis as his faithful ward Robin. Stewart can be the villan (he can be exposed as the one sliming the Muppet Labs) and once he has been caught they can all dance.

    Ask Ken at Palisades

You notice how my desperate requests for Stewart The Cat merchandise were met with silence. I guess he is a tough negotiator and they are still nailing him down on the rights to his likeness. I have complete faith in Palisades though - i expect they are saving the 'big guns' till last !!!

    Are The Dvd's Different?!

I've actually noticed that Canadian DVD's are sooooooo much cheaper than either UK or USA ones. For the price of one UK DVD i can get a Canadian one released a lot earlier including the shipping and still have change in my pocket !

    Post Awards Party

What kind of awards party is this ? No drugs, no drink and no d-list celebs hammering on the doors to get in (well - aside from the Olsens) ...... and this is to celebrate 495 posts about Golden Muffin Awards. Girls - i usually get all that stuff for something completely useless like a TV...

Are you sure we're talking about Mega Beaker here and not Naked Ken ? BTW - i saw the Muppet Labs play set the other day, very dark and moody while in the packaging. I could just imagine it as a set in a French Art House film called 'The Doomsday Labratory' or something like...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Nah - my names really Dave and i'm an alcaholic with a fetish for rubber ducks. The whole Luke thing is just my other personality. Josh was this kid who came onto the old Muppet Central forum and said he was going to make his own Fraggle Rock puppet show with professional Fraggle puppets...

So... Bunsen is 2nd MEGA Muppet?

It sounds ok - i think we'll see later just how good an idea it is. Hopefully the stores taking the PVC's and Mega's will be a little different so that it doesn't take the attention off the main line too much - i've seen those big Simpsons figures just sitting on the shelves because people snap...

So... Bunsen is 2nd MEGA Muppet?

Hey Grail, From what i understood from reading Ken, the Mega's would come out around (or just after) a regular figure wave but would alternate with the PVC's. So one quarter you get Mega Beaker, next quarter a PVC set - then onto Mega Animal, then a PVC set. The exception to this was them...

Trust me - it's not a good idea to go revealing 'secret identities'as Josh around here - that name is enough to send shivers up most of the longtime members spines.

What obscure Muppets do you miss?

Mopatops Shop - like a UK version of Bear but you have the shop instead of the Blue House. The actual Mopatop puppet is very Bear in design, the way he talks to camera is very Bear-like and the characters around him are very similar to the additional Bear characters just more British. The...

What obscure Muppets do you miss?

Cory - i did post a link to you where you can watch Mopatop streamed online, i think it was :- http://mopatop.carlton.com/look Yes, Muppet Central definitely needs to catch up with the UK shows - there's not enough on Hoobs or Mopatop and they are amongst the most popular and profitable...

    Muppet Patches at Hot Topic

I remember Faffner - it was on CITV the same era here as a more risque puppet show called 'Round the Bend'. The best thing about Faffner was the theme tune, thats not to say the show wasn't cool itself - just all kids shows that time (especially from Henson) had superb catchy theme tunes that...
