Hey Zacky Actually i was talking about the Beauty and the Beast promotion - there are 9 toys in that as far as i read - that makes 3 a week for 3 weeks !

There's no English audio or subtitle track on any of the discs at all unfortunately. It's just dubbed over completely in French.

When i mentioned Hyde Pierce i was linking him (very clumsily) to my comment that lots of actors emphasise 'gay' characteristics on screen to get a cheap and easy laugh. I hadn't particularly known whether he is gay in real life or not - my comment is solely about how he portrays the character...

I actually have some opinions on Bert & Ernie - first of all the ONLY people who ever know what went into the inception of those characters and what they are/aren't is Henson/Oz. People can make guesses though and i agree that they do not portray a gay couple and are a just a couple of friends...

If they are in the UK, i'll get them for people - but our happy meal toys are usually different from France and Germany so it's not the same throughout the whole of Europe. Our next one up is Beauty and the Beast on Nov 9th and it runs for 9 weeks so i think the Muppets won't happen here...

Yeah it does seem a case of if a lot of things (including the Fox show and Muppetfest) will happen or not - so much of the Muppets agenda for next year hinges on the sale and who exactly gets them so it's pretty much sink or swim. It could go to someone who would just carry things on as normal...
