I think a better suggestion would be if Rhino Records were to re-release the original Muppet Show LPs on CD, complete with liner notes and bonus selections. For example, for The Muppet Show 2 you could include as bonus tracks the songs from The Muppet Show Music Hall EP.

And what about the two times they did the last joke in a different location - in the Danny Kaye episode they did the final joke outside the Muppet Theatre and in the Glenda Jackson episode they did it in the Crow's Nest, with a Crow.

This has been nagging at me for a while, but why does Mildred call out "Nigel!" at the end of the At the Dance sketch on the Juliet Prowse episode? Is she calling out for the House Band Conductor (Nigel) or somebody else?

I have a funny feeling that it might depend on which version you are watching (UK or US). The US credits had more crew credited than the UK version so it might be that certain performers are credited in one version but not another. Can anyone confirm this hypothesis of mine?

That's a bit unfair; just because you can only hear the Muppets doesn't necessarily mean the Guests weren't singing along as well. When you have a whole lot of voices singing at once you're not going to hear every single voice on their own as they'll all have blended in together.
