While I find Matt’s Kermit tolerable, as I’ve said in other posts, it really feels like he tries way too hard to focus on his voice. I really think Peter Linz should have taken over as Kermit honestly.

I’m just glad to see Rizzo has a new performer, and that impression is honestly pretty close to Steve. I really was worried Rizzo would just fade out of existence into a pure background character.

I stand by my word with what I say when I believe “Muppets Tonight” honestly had more potential to grow, it just got a raw deal with ratings. Same thing with the 2015 series.

I can definitely see this pilot being released and then never acknowledged again regardless if ratings are good or not. Who knows. We could be surprised, and I definitely want more to come out of this, but all it takes is one screw-up from Disney and bam. Back to square one.
