Does anybody think you're weird for watching Sesame Street?

The point I'm trying to make is that a lot of people pretend to be dark, and don't know how good they have it. A lot of indie comic writers write a lot of pathos and suffering... I don't. And a lot of people listen to depressing music and dress like they're depressed. No matter how bad I...

    Lots of MUP3's, Wanna Trade?

The snow outside s depressing me... I'd love to have "Blanket of Snow, Blanket of Woe" if anyone has it.

VCR Alert: Oscar on "1 vs 100" (1/11/08)

I forgot about the Oscar appearance a couple times during. I missed about 2 episodes... but I made sure to catch this last one. I really love how Oscar got back at Bob for messing up his name. Very cute. And it still gets me that he lost on a letter and number question.

Does anybody think you're weird for watching Sesame Street?

I always say this: how come dressing up as Naruto or Spiderman for a convention or something qualifies you as a weirdo loser, but dressing up as Miss Piggy, or going shirtless in 20 below weather with letters painted on your fat stomache is a sign of healthy growth and developement? hey...

You're not going to miss it for too long... It's coming to DVD

Sounds extremely petty of her, IMO. BTW, I think someone is reposting some of your videos themselves. Just thought I'd warn you.

    Best/Worst advertising mascots

You may be interrested to hear of a cartoon called "Linus the Lionhearted" Which basically was a collection of cartoons that were based on cereal mascots for Post. Long story short, Sugar Bear was the only one that lasted past the series.

Do Folks Do This To You..?

You know, considering how main stream Star Trek and Beatles are, I AM surprised you'd get slack from that. I love the Beatles myself (though I prefer their more artistic later works than their earlier music). Only reason you'd get slack from Star Trek is from Jocks or something that usually...

The Muppet Show Season 3 arrives May 20, 2008

Seconded. Or thirded. I mean, Disney hasn't a single special feature on its own Disney afternoon sets (not even so much as a voice actor interview or even a couple TV spots). The only special thing about the Tick DVD's was that Ben Edlund actually drew the covers (at least of season 1)...

MINDstyle to make 25th Ann. Fraggle figures!

...you mean, like McFarline's line of "OMG! Look how cool and artistic I am! I made the eyeball juice in Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz ooze out" serial killer type collectible dioramas? Or ones based on movies only 5 people give a crap about? I still don't get the appeal of the "Lost"...

Noggin. no wonder. it wasn't so much SW's problem as Viacom's...again.

MINDstyle to make 25th Ann. Fraggle figures!

Hmmm... well, I wonder if this is the same thing that happened with the NECA TMNT, and they just have some sort of deal with a toy magazine to show it or something. You know what I'm talking about jimhensonhour. Personally, I squinted really hard, sitting 2 inches from the screen... and I...

Blast from the Past!: A Memories Thread

Oh. I've been spelling it with the number 7... 7thy Greenwood. No wonder why it didn't look right. Well, oddly enough, prewriter strike, we've seen some pretty decent prime time shows, like Heroes, Reaper, and Pushing Daisies. But when it comes to children's TV, as a board member here...

    Rugrats voice artists

You know, those earlier episodes were pretty good. Oddly more adult than the one where they grew up. Hows that for a total paradox. I think Nancy did a better job copying Christine's voice as Chucky than Candi Milo did with Dexter. It's a shame she no longer does VO anymore. i really miss...

MINDstyle to make 25th Ann. Fraggle figures!

Matleo posted on another thread that you actually can just barely make out the pics of the Fraggle prototypes on their main page. http://mindstyle.com/ Unfortunately, these are very very tiny, and very hard to make out. But if you look really closely, you can just see Gobo's arm, and...

    Character name origins...

Well, the origen of :insatiable: is more than just the obvious. Since one of his first skits is where he stole Cookies from Ernie, I'm guessing they started saying "Cookie monster" in reference to the "Cookie sketch"- sort of like what they did with Beautiful Day Monster and Luncheon Counter...

Sesame Street classic clips on YouTube

Is Kidsongstvshow the one that keeps putting full videos up in parts? I think that person was suspended like 15 times already. You see, it's something like that that endangers people who want to put up short ,<5 minute videos, like Isnorden, who was actually thrreatened with legal action. If...

Blast from the Past!: A Memories Thread

dwmckim, great post, but you just pulled off one of my biggest pet peeves in the world. D'oh! :o You called him "Weird Al" Yankovich, when it's really just Yankovic. I know it's a little thing, but it's akin to saying "Jim Jenson and the Muffins." I don't know how many people I've...
