    Another TV Land Outrage!

I do like Scrubs and all, but how in shell is Extreme home Makeover a classic in any right? Reality shows were meant to be forgettible and regrettible. The shareholders of these networks really need to revolt, buy up more stock or threaten to pull out, just so they can oust these Trust Fund...

    short-lived shows without DVD releases

Considering Tim Burton was an executive producer or something, I can't see why it won't make it. But Universal (that's the company that did it, right?) seems to be skiddish when it comes to cartoon series DVD's. Look how long it took them to get their staple, Woody Woodpecker on DVD. I'd be...

Snow eating now endangered kid pleasure

Which would be....? Anyway, if you think about it, snow and rain aren't really all that anti-septic. It's basically water that fell from the sky, and landed on lord knows what. excrement? Garbage? So there's indeed some bacteria in it. Stopped me from eating snow when I got old enough.

    How thin is acceptable?

When I get down to it, I actually laugh at the lawsuit filed by those students that claim that going to McD's every single day and getting the biggest thing on the menu and supersizing it as well (probably even after eating lunch anyway). Common sense if you eat masssive quanities of anything...

50 greatest shows of all time

Fred's Fred made him come off way too stupid, instead of the straight headed leader of the group. I blame the script too. Funny thing about that. The studio wanted big names to appear in the film, and the Mirage group (the creators of TMNT) didn't want that. So they let them appear in the...

    Top 5 Sesame Street one-liners

Here's a list of whatever I could remember at the top of my head.... Business Exec-"Hey! They can't read. So let's call the show 'Hey Stupid!'" (pilot, so it counts) Bert-[/B}"Hey there Lamp! That's a nice shade!...now you..." Cookie Monster- Cookie's award winning cookie Poem-...

We all have Four More Years to Live...

I will say I doubt it... but the fact of the matter is, we've done stuff that pretty much P.O'd a bunch of very nasty people (Trying to keep political ambiguity here) and they could very well nuke us off the face of the Earth. I'm not saying I believe the world will end, but it will always be...

50 greatest shows of all time

Ehhh... to me, it was a show geeky people watched because they thought Sarah Michelle Gellar was hot. (kidding... kidding...well, maybe just a little) I don't know why, but I never liked her. Had I known she played April in the new TMNT movie, I wouldn't have seen it (and coming...

    Sesame Easter Merchandise 2008

The Easter stuff is already in stock, and you'll be delighted to see some nice Sesame street stuff if you go to Target (unrelated to the dollar section products, which is another thread entirely). So far I've seen egg coloring kits (featuring Abby on the package) and a few plush. There are...

    How thin is acceptable?

Can I just say that single digits to me don't even register as fat at all? Of course, when you're overweight yourself, your perseption of Fat is much different. I can't call a woman under 200 pounds fat. Soft, maybe, chubby, maybe. But not fat.And I can't even say obese until a woman is at...

Shrek Goes Fourth Announced for 2010

Stolen name puns at that. The title seems almost ripped off of "Blackadder Goes Fourth"- which someone pointed out on another website.

It varies from state to state. Quite a few movies are released during the February vacation. Our state has one.

Wouldn't be too sure Cavemen won't be on DVD at some time. They probably made the DVD before the series even debuted.

K B Toys Erupts With Fraggle Merch

Last time I went (and got Wembly) I saw they also had the single disk Fraglle DVD's. They're pretty much what they cost before they went on clearance, but it was pretty cool to find those there as well. I really wish they had the 2 pack mini-plush and the Doozer PVC's though.

    How thin is acceptable?

Not to me. All I see are stereotypical Sex in the City "Plastics" (only word I can think of. For those of you that haven't seen Mean Girls, it referrs to judgemental, shallow women, always looking for a trophy Boyfriend or Husband). A bunch of women too afraid to eat on a regular basis in...

    The Chipmunks' Triumphant Return

Basically, the only weeik it really should have done well is February vacation. While it makes sense that it's too cold to do anything over the weekends in winter, and a movie is pretty much an ideal way to spend it, this time of year is usually iffy for movies. At least, it isn't as strong as...
