    BK Spongebob Commercial

I haven't seen the commercial aired during kid's programming... but then again, I always add... What kid's programming? Unless you have cable, it's tumbleweeds, man. The commercial is clearly aimed at adults saying "Buy a Value combo and get a Kid's meal for 99 cents." And it aired during...

    The Muppet Bus on SNL

So the fact they were riding in the Electric mayhem's bus and singing "Movin' Right Along" wasn't a dead giveaway? ;)

    The Muppet Bus on SNL

You're waaaaayy over thinking it. It's clearly a parody of the Muppet movie, and how random celebrities from the 1970's played random parts... Richard Pryor as the balloon salesman, Bob Hope as the ice cream vendor... so why wouldn't it make sense to have a random celeb from the 1970's be the...

    Henson-related video games

I do like the parody of other games idea... but I would much rather something completely original (as opposed to Pigs in Space for Atari). And I was thinking about it the other day when an idea came to me. Earthworm Jim... specifically the second one. Now, I'm sure you're all familiar with...

Do you feel bad for liking Sesame Street?

With all due respect, that person likes Britney Spear's music. That's like someone telling you that "Citizen Kane" is the worst movie ever, and then saying the best movie ever is "Meet the Spartans." I'm sure you like her music too, and I do feel sorry for what the media has done to her...

Weinstein rolls with Fraggle Rock movie

Of course it wouldn't be necissary. Look at TMS and SS... they pride themselves on what Celebs they have in each episode. When someone appears on SS, it's big news. FR never had a celeb guest, because it wasn't trying to be the same sort of show that SS or TMS is. It's like the difference...

    The Muppet Bus on SNL

That's what bugs me... I give him credit for trying at least. I never thought any of his stuff was that funny, though. I just wish someone would coach him into speaking der mock Smedish look der rall choof do hon der sheew. Tell me about it. I watched this episode a couple weekends ago to...

Why are Elmo, Zoe, Rosita and Baby Bear so annoying to classic SS fans?

But let's not forget that those characters stood the test of time. While Telly is the elder statesman of the group (he was around since the 80's) and Elmo is a close second, Zoe, Baby Bear and Rosita came out of the turbulent time when a certain purple yutz was stealing the show's spotlight...

Weinstein rolls with Fraggle Rock movie

Only things that I don't want to see happen in this movie Corey himself said don't worry about it, it ain't going down like that. No Shreky pop culture references and requoting old movies out of context... no Hanna Montana-esque music score... and of course, he's clearly researched the series...

Whimzie's House? A Closely Muppet related show?

Right... but then again, I really dislike Cookie Jar right now (for the whole DIC merger... not too thrilled at DIC either). Of course, a lot of these voice actors that Cinar used have other projects . You can hear the voice of Sonia Ball (Arthur's mother) as Polly Ester in the old Samurai...

Why are Elmo, Zoe, Rosita and Baby Bear so annoying to classic SS fans?

I saw a clip that was obviously about Rosita teaching Elmo a word in Spanish DUBBED INTO SPANISH on that program. I'm sure that that's used to teach some other languages (if not Spanish) in international shows (sort of like how !Hace Calor! was redubbed completely for Shalome Sesame)... but...

    Stuart Pankin

I swear he was also in The Mask the animated series as The Bee Man.

Why are Elmo, Zoe, Rosita and Baby Bear so annoying to classic SS fans?

Unfortunately? Sheesh! You do realize that almost every other country teaches multiple languages to their children since preschool. And I doubt Sesame Street would have to be so advanced that they have to teach kids to conjugate verbs in Spanish. They've always taught different words in...

    Kids Recognizing Muppets

I don't ever think I had that problem myself. The Muppets were always around some form or another. TV stations replayed the Muppet Movies from time to time, some stations reran the Muppet Show, there was the occasional special, that Muppet Magazine, and then there were videos. It could be...

    Elmo phone contraversy

Oh man... first it was that "Who wants to Die" stuff, then the "Kill James" bit, and the "Rip Elmo's Fur out" (which came out of the speaker of one of the lead covered toys, and that bit went unnoticed for a year) thing. We NEED to come up with new speaker technology people. What we have is...

Why are Elmo, Zoe, Rosita and Baby Bear so annoying to classic SS fans?

I still find these characters only a bane because they all premiered about the time SS took the "dive" the classic fans say. Elmo I really understand, since...well... if you don't know by now, I ain't pointing it out. But I really think Rosita and Zoe are some of the best female characters...

    New Elmo Puppet?

Any...uh... photos of this to back it up? I'd like to see a side by side comparison, myself.

Weinstein rolls with Fraggle Rock movie

Oh no... that was decided a while ago. The movie was originally to be released in 2009, and we were supposed to have a preview of the movie on the third box set.... but that was if the movie didn't hit so many writing blocks. The treatment was written about 2007 or so, and the Henson company...

Question about Recasting Sweetums in the 1980s...

And to add to it, Sweetums was performed by David Rudman that one time for the Cosby Show, while Richard was performing the sausage sub that kept disagreeing with Cliff Huxtible. Sometimes, the performer just performs a character he's more comfortable with if it's just for one scene.

Could Seth Rogen be the new Rowlf ?

AND there was that Youtube video that mociked those "dogs on a skateboard" videos. That was just amazing. We're getting that classic character back in the spotlight where he belongs. We came a long way from the 1 second groan in MFS....
