    E-mail for Muppet Show DVD seasons 4 & 5

They always have the FIFTH season. And ALL of Muppets Tonight... and they could easily sell single disk best ofs for casual Muppet likers. Three year waits are NO excuse especially since they SAID it was going to happen this year. At least we tried.

    Another 'Happy Meal' Ban

You know... good way around this? In the areas that cannot sell the toys as part of the kid's meal, just sell them separately, and have the price for single toy written on the menu. Ten to one, all you gotta do is ask, but just make it known you can ALWAYS buy them separately. In fact, I...

Guess who's getting a movie this time?

The sad thing is, Robert Zermeckis was threatening to do the exact same thing to Roger, only (even worse) using the motion capture living ghoul system that made such ugly films as Polar Express and Christmas Carol 09. And as I said, that's even WORSE than pasting a CGI over everything. I...

Sesame Street Season 41 Press Kit

Remember, these could be parodies in name ONLY. I was very disappointed by the Breakfast Club "takeoff" a few years ago. Come to think of it, I don't remember someone with tornado powers or speed powers in Fantastic Four either....

Guess who's getting a movie this time?

I'm reserving judgment too, especially if the Marvin the Martian movie is dead in the water (this very well could also share the same fate). I really hate and object to the fact that Bugs Bunny has to be a concept picture, and especially how everything has to be EXACTLY like the Chipmunks...

    Another 'Happy Meal' Ban

Yeah, if that were to actually happen, I'd support it. But again, an ideal world. Though, quite frankly, you'd think the health food places would try a little harder. Thankfully we're getting more and more stuff like community gardens, but it's still a long way to go. But as I said, those...

Guess who's getting a movie this time?

Nah, he did that when they made Loonatics. Or, quite frankly, what they did to the Kwicky Kowala show... or Filmation's Droopy. Filmation's Droopy... now THAT was an insult. If I didn't actually like the DIC cartoon "Wacky World of Tex Avery" I'd mention that too.

    Overrated Movies

mMMmmmmm... I found it completely out of place. In another movie, it could have worked. I certainly found her a little more enjoyable than Mort in Madagascar (and frankly, any shrimpy Gingerbreadman type character in Early Dreamworks CGI films). Maybe she should have had a little more screen...

Guess who's getting a movie this time?

What happened to the Marvin the Martian film? Weren't we supposed to have some dopey Marvin the martian film first? Looney Tunes have pretty much had a bad time with theatrical movies. The earliest movies were basically clip shows hosted by Bugs, and their latest films had Bugs and Daffy...

    Another 'Happy Meal' Ban

I still don't think that's right. Taxing fatty foods winds up punishing people with really REALLY low incomes that are so unfortunate they actually have to survive on it. And I'm not just talking people who have to eat McD's every day because the parents can't cook, I'm talking people that...

    Another 'Happy Meal' Ban

I've absolutely had it with the Health-stappo. I have. They KILLED American TV animation, they're killing fun little treats, and now they want to kill the only right of childhood we have left, kid's meal prizes. Meanwhile that stuff isn't even helping to curb the childhood obesity hypa-demic...

Garbage Pail Kids cartoon voice artists

I'm gonna have to side on the parents with this one. I hate to tear down everyone's shows (since everyone does it to me with precision sharpshooting) but the show was extremely disappointing and bland. These snotty parental groups thought this was going to be some disgusting, vile, nasty thing...

    Overrated TV shows

It's overrated for me because only Britcom nerds really know Huge Laurie's body of work outside of the series. I watched it myself, and I WAS pleasantly surprised, but can't get over the fact he was the foppish idiot Prince in Black Adder III I thought she was. personally, I want to see an...

    Overrated Movies

Couple things... The Grinch movie was first and foremost a Christmas movie. If a Christmas movie is released at just the right time, no matter how horrible it is, people WILL see it. A Family Christmas movie all the more. That's why Elf and the first Chipmunks films were surprise hits...

    Overrated Movies

Oh, religiously and historically speaking there is so much there that has plagued history. What people refuse to realize is that the Roman's caused so damage in history, destroying cultures and stealing their religions. Why the Jewish faith keeps getting bludgeoned with the blame of Caesar's...

Sesame Street Season 41 Press Kit

Couldn't agree more. Really. That's why I liked Elmo in Grouchland oddly enough. He actually grew as a character through the movie, and he has shown a deep "more than a friend as they get older" caring for Zoe. Abby's a very emotionally driven character, and she is even in her own segment...

Sesame Street Season 41 Press Kit

I think the main problem with Elmo IS a matter of quantity over quality. He does have a personality, and he is capable of some funny or at least likable sketches... but when most episodes feature him, then sketches involving him and a celebrity, then Elmo's World... that's a little too much...

    Worst commercial on TV today?

I hate to double post, but there's something I hate a LOT more. Those annoying E-Trade commercials with the talking Babies. I mean, I'll spare you the deep subcontext stuff (I hate the idea of Wall Street investing marketed to stoners, though... :attitude: ) but who thought these were funny...

Reread the press release about the episodes. I can't believe we missed this. Baby Natasha's gonna be in an episode! How cool is that?

More Looney Tunes DVDs coming to DVD in April

As I said in the SW thread, I really think they should get someo0ne else to go in and do these releases. The only thing they've been good with were a good 75% of the DC comics releases. That said, Legion of Super Heroes and Static Shock have YET to see decent DVD releases. Yes, a lot of...
