    New Muppet Mugs

Someone already re-confirmed it for me, but yes, I was there just yesterday and they had them. Something else I noticed. A while ago, the Muppet stuff was all crammed into a separate nook, now the products seem to be integrated with everything else.

Muppet Show Season 4 coming in 2013

That's just freaking perfect! Now we have to wait ANOTHER YEAR? ! This is not only ridiculous, this is putting the sales of this series in jeopardy. A 3 year wait between ANY DVD release is beyond insane and inane. And the worst part is they SPECIFICALLY said that it WOULD be released in...

    The Random Fun Facts Thread

Saw some kid tying the animatronic Chuckie's shoelaces together once. :insatiable: Of course, I also witnessed the mascot beat down too on another occassion.

    New Muppet Mugs

The ones near me seem to have them, at least the Kermit and Piggy ones. I swear I saw the Fozzie or at least Animal ones... I don't really buy mugs. Even on a (ick) cold day, I'm NO fan of hot beverages.

    Quick question

Elmo's a good character when he EMOTES! All he does is smile and be happy and smile for the celebs with the word of the day. No wonder why he's so much better outside of the show. Kevin can actually stretch with the character and have fun with him when there's no script.

    Muppet Snow White

Okay, figured out WHY we have a different cover for the B cover. There is no Dragon in that issue. I can't even make jokes about how it ends... you have to see it for yourself. Though, it kinda feels to me they really didn't know how to end it until the deadline hit.

    New Muppet Mugs

New-ish. These actually popped up a couple of months ago at Disney Stores. I've been fortunate enough to have a couple that closed down reopen a year ago, so I can check up on any new Muppet stuff. Though, I don't know how to feel that they don't have any Marvel stuff outside of the Iron...

Muppets Based on Contemporary Celebrities/Pop Culture

I'd say more of the Jerry Falwell types and the whole "What happened to America?" groups that want a non-existent version of the 1950's. But that's the nail on the head. The group of people who claim to be patriotic, have nothing but nasty things to say about stuff without getting all the...

    Muppets Sherlock Holmes

Quite possibly. but it really wasn't all that big of a hit to make a rebirth of interest in the character to non-mystery/literature buffs. I still wonder. Maybe some Sherlock expert can answer me this. Was Sherlock ever a copyrighted character, and did his copyright just run out? or was...

Petition For Disney To Release Muppets @ WDW & MT

I wish they would just consider releasing MT on TMS's off time as far as releases go. There's all this Muppety goodness outside of Muppet babies (and that's a copyright headache when it comes to the old film clips unless they release...ugh... best ofs) that needs to be released, and they're...

    The Darkwing Duck Thread

I realized something that all the sudden bugs me. When were villains like Bushroot, Megavolt, and that ilk considered members of FOWL? I've seen them depicted that way in a lot of merchandise and video games and like that. To me, Darkwing Duck is a show that's two different concepts linked...

    Quick question

I agree totally. Kids apparently love Elmo, and SW is trying to get kids to love Abby (I think they've been pretty successful... Elmo's climb to popularity was slow at first, but they wanted Abby to be instantly popular). And if that's the factor keeping the show afloat, well, I reluctantly...

    Muppet Snow White

Definitely another Futurama character. Only in shadow.

    The Darkwing Duck Thread

This is the one.. And yes, it was indeed a cereal promotion. There were at least 2 Ducktales cereal PVC collections, though I can't really recall who was in them. I know the three nephews, but I can't remember if Scrooge or LP were there at all.

Why Did Disney Abandon The Bear Franchise?

Yeah, but you'd think they'd rerun it, put it on DVD, or in any other way acknowledge the character. They do own him. We have some potential for it to air on Disney Junior (though I object to a 24/hr preschool channel, especially when there's movies, cartoons, TV shows...etc that will never...

Can Lions Gate Release Muppet Television?(JHH)

I've said it before... but there's definitely something about Lionsgate that managed to coax Disney into lending the likenesses. And I believe that's due in part to Lionsgate being the sub-license distribution company of those terrible 2000 era Disney ABC sitcoms (According to Jim...blech...

Petition For Disney To Release Muppets @ WDW & MT

That really bugs me. Meanwhile, they have no problem with distributing their old 1950's and 60's lilly white fantasy films, and they don't think it's not PC to do so. If you change the Mark Twain character's name to "Upstanding African American Jim" doesn't make it so that bad stuff never...

Your Thoughts: The Muppet Show Comic Book

We can all answer that with a definite yes. After all, the arc was shortened to 3 issues due to the inclusion of Pigs in Space in the graphic novel version. Anyone notice we're not getting 2 different covers of this issue? Is that going to be a new direction?
