The Bible and Love and Christians

That's basically the point I'm trying to make. How come it's taken so long for the Log Cabin Republicans to say, "Hey, we vote for you people to, we realize that you won't accept us, but must you shove it in our faces the way you do?" This is yet another time I have to bring up cartoons to...

The Bible and Love and Christians

I don't like his Neo-Con yesman attitude towards the Wall Street protesters. That's my only real beef. Sure, I find their message muddled, and sure, they need to better organize themselves (sadly, I think they could learn their organization from the Tea Party), but at least they're saying what...

The Bible and Love and Christians

That's not the point. I'm saying these religious based wedge issues are counter productive to the country, and finally the gay Repbulican community is growing a pair and telling them to avoid that sort of garbage and get back to the real issues. Repealing the repeal of DADT will do nothing but...

Which format is better for the Muppet Movie?

Frogboy? You there? He has a much better angle on this than me, and even wrote an article or two about it. Personally, after seeing Ghostbusters in full frame VHS, I NEVER wanted to see another movie in full frame ever again. It's also said that you can unfortunately see some of the...

    Muppet Puppets at FAO

Seems like the Eyes have it... The problem with this puppet is that it uses completely round eyes, when animals are a little flatter/further in his face. Not to mention the fact that his eyebrows always cover his eyes to an extent, not exist entirely behind the eye, like how the puppet was...

    Disney planning more 3D re-releases

That one would look pretty cool with that gimmick too. In will say I'm kicking myself for not seeing the 3-D Cars 2. That was a movie where you really had to see it in 3-D. Animation, CGI and stop motion specifically, is the only thing that looks great that way. Sigh... I wish 3-D was more...

    International Release Dates?

There's a glitch in your line (the end parenthesis isn't part of your link, leading to a page that doesn't exist... fussy thing, computers) but even then, the more accurate international info is Here It doesn't have everywhere, mind you, but some very specific places in Europe.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 42

Miles' actor left to focus on his own career outside of the show. I don't know where Gabi is, but she pops up from time to time... but Gordon, Alan, Maria, Luis, Leela, Chris, and of course since the episode was about her, Gina. But you don't even see THAT many actors on the same episode at...

I Think my Head's Been in the Clouds too Long...

See? The line's simple! It's the one lined with barb wire that leads right off a cliff.

    Muppet Puppets at FAO

Ehhh... not loving the eyes on that thing. I think the Disney Treasures plush managed to get the eye problem down right, making them cloth.

    The Chipmunks

UGH! I HATE estates. Humorless people, estates. I've heard John Denver's estate is completely mismanaged, that's why we aren't seeing rereleases of those Muppet specials. Yet, I'm sure these guys would see dollar signs if someone wanted to use it for a commercial for male enhancement or...

I Think my Head's Been in the Clouds too Long...

I'm heavily grounded and know the difference between reality and fantasy. Simple difference that ANYONE should know. Reality sucks.

If "The Muppets" is a success: What's next?

At this point, ALL I want is some answers on why we haven't seen season 4 for 3 years, especially since it was announced to come out last year 2 years ago. I don't even WANT the thing now, just answers. I can take it. it's this kittyfooting around and not giving us the true reasons that's...

The Bible and Love and Christians

Exactly. If it was a choice, people wouldn't purposely choose to do something so vilified, and they could switch back and fourth whenever they pleased. But the main thing is, even amongst conservatives, they're starting to get sick of these wedge issues that do nothing but scare votes into...

The Bible and Love and Christians

Back to the topic... I'm SOOO glad the Log Cabin Republicans are actually GROWING a pear against their party nominees. Herman Cain wants to repeal the repeal of DADT (for the same pandering to the religious right they always have to pull), and supposedly gave the "it's a choice" myth and asked...

    Muppet Puppets at FAO

Yeah... but no Carl from Up... :attitude: Yeah, MTI didn't really see any of the pirates as merchandise, did it? Even with the Palisades line we only got Polly Lobster as an accessory. And I don't think there have been any toys of any of the other movies either. But somehow, I see a Walter...

    Disney planning more 3D re-releases

That's why I wish they'd consider re-releasing these in the original 2-D. Though, with Lion King, that re-release WAS pretty much an advertisement for it's DVD release. But then again, 3-D prices or not, it did better than NEW films that came out in both weeks it was out. Maybe they're onto...

    The Chipmunks

Look, as much as I'd love the entire 80's show, the music rights would be impossible to get all clear no matter how many suits they try to pull. I'm wondering how hacked up the California Raisins DVD is going to be. I saw an episode of the cartoon series recently, and it had 3 musical numbers...

    The Chipmunks

Well, the Bagdasarians have take it upon themselves to release DVD's themselves And they're STILL kiddy 3 episodes for 15 bucks releases. What's the hold up with a complete Alvin Show already?

    Continuity within the Muppet-verse??

Here's what gets me then... the new movie WAS to take continuity of GMC into consideration, considering Nick Holiday was to have a cameo... but since Grodin declined, it's a moot point. But still... there's never any attempt at continuity until recently. And only with the new movie and VMX.
