    Muppet Puppets at FAO

Joke aside, they took a commercial Kermit plush (one that's not really great) because there was some weird haggling between Henson and German McDonalds at the time. They wouldn't let anyone but Steve perform the character, or they didn't want to send them the official puppet... and then they...

    Commercial rant time...

Yes and no. There are regulations about slanting commercials towards kids (which is my primary complaint because it killed Children's programming for those not lucky enough to have cable), and we cannot advertise tobacco products on television anymore... and of course, alcohol commercials can...

    Disney planning more 3D re-releases

Back when it was released, the 3-D was limited time only, and only available at the most expensive theaters. I'd've had to pay 15 bucks for it at a matinee. Now, EVERY theater I know has 3-d, save for one, but it's owned by the same people who own another that does have it.

    Are Gorgs vegetarians?

Now that I think about it... Pa Gorg going Fishing doesn't necessarily means he's going to catch the fish to eat them. Some people fish for the sport of it and let them go. Plus, something tells me when Pa Gorg goes fishing, he doesn't catch so much as a boot. So they can't eat what he can't...

    Muppet Puppets at FAO

The Kermit's photo doesn't look too good, but I think once you (and I'm trying to make this sound as innocuous as possible) actually put a hand inside, it may just look right. Certainly better than this hollowed out little fella...

Say goodbye to Darkwing and Ducktales comics!

BUMP: Seems like Warren AND Ian are tag teaming for the final cross over. Silviani's thankfully doing the art instead of that two bit studio. I liked Warren's vision for the Ducktales series, but he clearly needed another writer to help him focus. They spent too much time in one place...

    Commercial rant time...

UGH... Guess what Infomercial I just found on TV.... Another get rich quick off real estate scheme program. I'm sorry... but didn't that kind of Fred Flintstone thinking kinda... I dunno... cause the economic collapse in the first place? And they DARE limit McDonalds and Cheetos commercials...

The Bible and Love and Christians

Here's the thing. Religious types USED to vote for Democrats. It's true. It took the Vietnam War, the creation of the Moral Majority, and the rise of Jerry Fallwell to change that.

    New Muppet Jewelry at Walmart

Why did I misread this as Muppet Jersey? No, not the state... I thought there was some Muppet Sports jersey or something.

    Muppet Puppets at FAO

Yeah, That's what I was trying to do, but better. Re visioned is the key, but Tweaked is basically what to expect of Animal plush. The problem with Animal plush for the longest time is the Lollipop effect. The shape of his head is misinterpreted as completely round... This is probably the...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 42

There were 2 letters? I changed the channel in annoyance of seeing the sort of Sanrio looking Cookie Monster for the umpteenth time. 2 Numbers I knew, because I like that thing about the penguins.

    Muppet Puppets at FAO

The lollipopping of Animal is something we've seen quite a lot over the years, but it's something we're used to. It is quite hard to get Animal's mangled fur quality and precise head shape in a plush toy... but they eyes are another thing If his expression was more like this 3 minutes of...

    Epic Fails

Underdog Movie. Epic Fail. Yogi at least managed to get Yogi and Boo-Boo right, Smurfs managed to get Gargamel Right (he's the best one on the show anyway), Inspector Gadget managed to at least get the fact he has Gadgets right... Underdog was epic fail.

    Are Gorgs vegetarians?

I wonder if it's still an access thing. The Fraggle Diet consists mostly of Radishes because that's all they can get out of the Gorg's garden. I'm sure they culminate other things of what they manage to find growing in the Rock or make some dangerous pilgrimage to the Gorg's house for things...

Muppet Fans: What do you want for Christmas?

I just want a reason why it's so late. At this point, I don't even care about seeing it as much as I do getting some answers. No matter what happened to it, I just want to know why. I can take it. Even if the news is terrible, I can take it. Though, not releasing it is NOT going to help the...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 42

Another engineering show. They lay this stuff on thick, especially that extremely amateurish car building "film" segment at the end. At least the Humpty Dumpty part was kinda fun. Like the new Humpty Dumpty Puppet they've had recently. The weird storybooky looking one was never a favorite of...

Near and Far in spanish with Early Elmo

This is going on purely the basis that these are the same exact monsters (not to mention the same background and setting) from "We're all Monsters," so it stands to reason, this might be another Jerry Nelson as "Baby Monster" case. it stands to reason that they were shot pretty close to each...

    Are Gorgs vegetarians?

Here's the question. Are they really vegetarians, or do they not have access to traditional sources of meat? The Gorgs live in their own world, and that world does not have cattle or chickens or anything like that. Gorgs know nothing of the world around them, other than the Fraggles, so it's...

New Muppet Shirts/tees at Forever 21

JEEZ! Now I know what's wrong. I confused Forever 21 with Rue 21. I dunno about Forever, but Rue always has a selection of guy's clothes. They have Muppet stuff time to time. I was about to complain about how these are girls only shirts when, again, I confused the store with another.

    Growing Hope Against Hunger

Elmo's used in these cases specifically because he's around the target age of the audience... 3 1/2. Kids will always listen to a peer and will always watch shows or read books about kids their own age (or around their own age). That's why so many kids cartoons are about kids doing something...
