    The Muppet Show...Continued?

I'd be torn if we had another DTV movie... On the one hand, new project... on the other, the Muppets NEED the budget and release of a theatrical film. I'd rather see strange Muppet projects like those than something akin to KSY or VMX that's made for television.

    Henson Collaborating With Shia La'Beouf

I can't wait to see Shia retroactively complain about how terrible working on this project was... than doing another project with them. :flirt: You know what I'm talking about!

17 Things Kermit has done that are worse than living in a mansion.

I'm taking that as a gaffe. Steve probably wasn't prepared for that question, kidding around late night... Porn is fine is fine. The biggest offense is mild. Kermit's what you make of him... as long as he doesn't do anything really nasty, I don't mind.

Singing Christmas Kermit & Piggy at Walgreen's

You cannot kill what's already dead! Though, not looking a gift horse in the mouth if these do well with people who are casual fans that just buy random Christmas junk... those people might buy another more important item soon to come. Movie tickets.

Is the Jim Henson Company involved at all in the new movie?

The only people who'd take that seriously were people who wouldn't want to see the movie anyway. I find it really humorous a lot of Star Trek purists that didn't want to see the new film found all these things to complain about before the movie came out, and when some actually saw it, they...

17 Things Kermit has done that are worse than living in a mansion.

We forgot now? Remember back when VMX was made there was an interview with Kermit somewhere (I forget exactly where... I'm a big picture, not details rememberer) and they asked him about why Snoop Dogg was cut from the movie, and the discussion took Kermit to nervously say "porn is fine" about it?

17 Things Kermit has done that are worse than living in a mansion.

Perfectly agreed. The Henson biographical film that had as much truth as a poorly maintained wikipedia article (which was the source, actually) had some very dark moments and complete inconsistencies that are out of character (Piggy with Link? Piggy would violently swing at Link if he even...

Is the Jim Henson Company involved at all in the new movie?

One person reported it, and everyone stole from the article out of context. And as I've said oft, if there was any time to complain about the direction of a Muppet movie it was basically MFS (only Joey Mazzarino spoke out against that years later, but only because the director mangled his...

    Bringing you the Truth...

The thing that bugs me is already Romney is hinting at things that are worse. he keeps talking about how much of a failure it was for Obama to just let the War in Iraq deadline end the war instead of renegotiating to keep them in longer. Then he goes on to keep saying we need a stronger...

    Disney Store Muppet Merchandise Released

I said this before... I actually did some research and realized there never was all that much of Muppet Merchandise when a movie came out. Muppet Treasure Island had the most. Even then it was like 3 plush, a McDonalds promotion AND Bubble Bath in containers shaped like the characters. On the...

Playskool's Sesame Street Line is available now

Actually, I wonder if I actually had one or two of them when I was younger. I remember the regular PVC's in plastic blister packs from that same company... found some of them months ago, but I don't recall the posible ones.

    Disney Store Muppet Merchandise Released

Tell me about it! 2 locations that JUST re-opened closed back down since they had only a barely 2 year lease. *&^%!! Simon Malls and their ridiculous leasing policies. They have all these upscale stores NO ONE really shops at everywhere I go, and they can't give the Diz an extension? Only...

Singing Christmas Kermit & Piggy at Walgreen's

If this stuff is scalped on e-bay (for holy crap whatever reason) that just might be another good sign. Muppet Stuff (even bad stuff) selling=More Muppet stuff sold. Though I shudder to see their interpretations of Fozzie and Gonzo. Eh... at least Fozzie's ears used to wiggle. :D Kermit's...

    Trailer of the day

I'm just jealous that their Top Cat movie was better than our Yogi bear movie (at least it looks like and my minor understanding of Spanish has me liking the plot.... Dibble gets replaced as a police officer with someone much more Big Brother-like as per my understanding... GAWD I hope they can...

Singing Christmas Kermit & Piggy at Walgreen's

The fact that this actually passed the license is the most horrifying at all. Disney shouldn't be like Warner Bros and just accept recordings of whoever they find off the street that can do a voice for an ornament or talking plush that sorta kinda sounds like them. I mean, the Hallmark ornaments...

Singing Christmas Kermit & Piggy at Walgreen's

I REALLY Wish Disney had more approval on these things. Bad likenesses, poor voice imitations, Piggy with Wiggling ears? I'm saving my money for the GOOD stuff. The Disney Store plush. Now THAT'S how to make Muppet plush.

    Trailer of the day

I know this is your thread, and I don't wanna step on your thunder, but I'm adding an extra trailer for today because this absolutely fascinated me... Top Cat the Movie... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuTECMO0x6w Why in Spanish, you say? That's the fascinating bit... Top Cat (or rather...

    Disney Store Muppet Merchandise Released

I think I know what's always the issue with Fozzie Plus... As far as the puppet goes, his nose ever so slightly overlaps his eyes... If the nose was a completely separate part of the toy, that could be achieved better...

    Disney Store Muppet Merchandise Released

Piggy rarely looks good in plush form. Somehow, they got this pretty spot on too. Gonzo just needs a better set of eyes. Other than that, it's a pretty good likeness Fozzie somehow looks like Jay Sherman... I dunno why. It's still a pretty solid Fozzie.
