Something I noticed about the TV spots

You read that I actually started seeing them a week ago a week ago, right?

    Upcoming Disney Movies

One I'm not necisarrily looking forward to.. Planes It's going to be a DTV release... a sort of spinoff of Cars with Pixar involvement, but released by Disney. Not that enthusiastic about it. Especially since it's not even getting a theatrical release. I know they wanted to stop DTV...

    Disney Store Muppet Merchandise Released

It really seems that we're getting more Link and Pigs in Space stuff since the Palisades line. Glad that they chose Link to be Han... be then again, he's perfect for the role. Fozzie's casting is straight out of Muppet Babies. A nice little nod to that. I really wanna see more of these if...

If "The Muppets" is a success: What's next?

They never had a narrator, unless you count Gonzo and Rizzo in MCC... and that was just an excuse to get more Muppets into that movie. I don't think they'd really need one, since all the other films were quite fine without them. I can't say what I'd like to see next time until I get to see...

    Creator of Danger Mouse dies

http://news.yahoo.com/creator-uk-dangermouse-cartoon-dies-182126832.html Pretty sad news. Even though it did take me 20 years to catch an episode, it's one of the smartest written kid's shows out there. I love Danger Mouse and Count Duckula (never saw any of the other spinoffs, though)...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 42

I'm going through some personal stuff right now, and it kinda affected my enjoyment of the episode... anyway I just gotta ask, why did it take them so long to parody something like Iron Chef. I mean, Futurama parodied it before it was canceled the first time. But overall I guess it was fun...

    "Russian" promo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_u64ZOI3xwc This seems like something that would have totally scared the crap out of me when I was younger. According to one of the comments, Beaker is saying "menya menya" basically saying a poorly translated "Mee Mee" or rather "Me Me" the pronoun. But I can't...

    Disney Store Muppet Merchandise Released

Considering I was at TRU and saw a huge end cap of a certain Christmas movie I don't wanna talk about, I kinda flip flopped on it... Yeah, Disney SHOULD have done a lot more outside the Disney store to make a presence for the Muppets. Small carded PVC's/limited articulation figures... small...

New Stuff At The Parks. Star Wars/Muppet Figures!

I don't think I've seen a Rapunzel one. Still don't see why the UP set didn't get put into mass production after they found out it was going for a fortune on e-Bay...

Best Buy, Free Ticket to The Muppets

TRU had them all (except the season sets) for $9.99. Guess who didn't have $9.99. But that included LTS. That's a really pricey Muppet movie everywhere else for some reason.

Is anybody else just sick of Ice Age?

It's probably a fun game and I'd enjoy it... but there really was an explosion of merchandise. Still, I get that it's popular, but people that don't care for it want T-Shirts too.

New Toy Story Short Celebrates Kid's Meal Toys!

Now that I think of it, I think I'm losing my love affair with collecting this stuff. I went nuts getting the entire Simpsons Treehouse of Terror set this year (since I barely got half of them in the past)... I actually was going to stop after McD's Young Justice promotion, but then it was...

Cartoon all stars to the rescue.

Sometimes they were fun, sometimes they were gratuitous. I think the first movie handled them better. Especially the moldy pizza sequence. "Question... do you like Penicillin on your pizza?" Humming taps and sadly tossing it away never fails to kill me, and I get a lot more mileage out of it...

Is anybody else just sick of Ice Age?

I will say this... I'm more sick of seeing Angry birds everywhere. ONLY because JC Penny basically has walls and walls of new Angry birds shirts coming in all the time and the retro gaming/animation/movie shirts seem to have got a backseat to them. And remember, I LOOOOOOVE my cartoon T-shirts.

What the "Stop Online Piracy Act" could mean for us USA folks...?

Yeah, I don't expect to hear the last of it, but it could get stalled for quite some time. That's why I said "a year." Still, copyright is screwed up. Ideally, copyright is supposed to prevent me from copying someone else's idea beyond a shadow of a doubt for non-satirical reasons and make...

TV Alert: Muppets on Good Morning America November 17

I missed the first hour and a couple minutes of the second. But I quite enjoyed what I saw. The Mahna Mahna was priceless, the bit with the Turkey was pretty cute... and even though I wish the Chef did more, I loved seeing him get into a small argument with Emeral because he was unable to...

    Disney Store Muppet Merchandise Released

The figures may not have been a huge hit, sure... but you can't deny that the figure line DID start a trend. But I agree... it wasn't kid friendly. Some of the figures were a might fragile (thankfully all that broke was Rizzo's Ear and a couple of the Christmas figures which mostly I was able...

    Bringing you the Truth...

Like I said, a Third Party seems likely, but there's nothing organized or even appealing to anyone outside the extreme right or extreme left. I will say, at least there have been some progressive strides lately. Homosexuals can now fight in the horrendous Middle Eastern Quagmires we keep...

    The Muppets Movie Reviews

Your mileage WILL vary. If that's the most negative review there is, it's still an enjoyable movie. Prawncracker seems to have exploded with joy, and everything else we've heard is strongly positive. I'm not expecting to see anything better than The Muppet Movie or Muppets Take Manhattan or...

    Bringing you the Truth...

If you listen to what some of the reps are actually saying, I'll take stagnation over those backwards changes. More money for the rich? More spending for the military (which even actual conservative voters don't want)? More oppression of gays? They're a caricature of themselves and I fear...
