Worst walk around Miss Piggy costume ever

Mmmmmnnnnhnnnnn... Mine's still uglier. Looks like that Piggy had a stroke.

Bert and Ernie Gay Rumor: Settled

As scary as some of the machinations of the Ernie and Bert gay rumor are (various "religious" organizations that care more about power than God or Jesus's intentions), the Veggie Monster rumor is just coming out a place of pure annoyance. I get the fact people hate change that comes with...

Kermit Says That A Muppet Sequel Is Official

I'm guessing that's what they mean as well. It's too early to say what the next film would be... I'm sure that it may just do slightly better than the current movie (MTI did slightly better than MCC in the box office, though I'm sure once Christmas rolls around, MCC is the home video people...

The dark day of Valentines Day is upon us...

Personally, I'm angry, bitter, alone, depressed, completely confounded by life and all... but I chose to just ignore V-Day. It happens, other people are happy... I could care less. If nothing else, it means winter's almost over. Soon, we get to see the great green bounty of spring, and a sun...

Playskool's Sesame Street Line is available now

WOW! Super Grover 2.0 stuff and a Blogg figure (which, unfortunately, looks like you have to buy a huge big playset for). Really... I gotta start actually collecting these before the new series come out and I can't grab a Telly or Murray set.

Funko POP! Muppet figures coming in 2012

That's the problem with stylized figures... they all have to have some uniform stylization to them. But it looks like the photo prototypes did one thing right, and broke out of the Little Orphan Annie eyes. Still... I don't see why Gonzo's nose is that weird color. Even if it was Muppet...

The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Thread!

Yeah, like I said, with Lucy, she's got problems and she's nasty to everyone BUT Schroeder. Violet and Patty were just stuck up and trying hard to pull everyone apart by forming cliques. Plus, there's that total turn around where she becomes the inept comic relief on Charlie Brown's baseball...

    Wild Thornberries DVD (interesting development)

Warner Bros DESPERATELY doesn't want to have to release anything that isn't a current sitcom in a season set. Not even their top hits, Adventure Time, Mad, and Regular Show get full season sets... AT and RS get lame 6 episode best ofs, and Mad has to break 26 15 minute segments into half...

The Muppets is now the top-grossing Muppet movie

I'd love to see the Moopets come back somehow. I don't think they were fully utilized due to the fact that there was so much crammed into this latest movie. But even Jason agreed that a direct sequel isn't what the Muppets were about. Like I said, the only projects to even take what happened...

The Muppets is now the top-grossing Muppet movie

Well... Cars and Shrek are huge merchandising money makers. Cars 2 was clearly done just to sell die cast cars, as the first one had large scale sell outs of small cars in the first month. Shrek, because Dreamworks wanted some sort of Franchise. I actually really liked the second over the...

Funko POP! Muppet figures coming in 2012

When it comes to merchandising, it's usually been Muppet Baby-fied and routinely just a light blue... Even the first Palisades Gonzo toy was a light blue, just with more detailing...

The Muppets is now the top-grossing Muppet movie

It's not easy that the film opened up with so many other family films in a single week/week and a half long period. This past holiday season was more competitive than all of summer combined, and I'm sure most of the movies barely made budget. Still... that &^%$ second week... if only more...

    Does Disney own Fraggle Rock?

I don't see why Weinstine is sitting on the script that they had, causing them to have to start the process all over again. I guess that's some idiotic Hollywood legal thing. I'd love to see him come back and work on this one, because he stuck by his convictions (they wanted a robot sidekick...

Funko POP! Muppet figures coming in 2012

Gonzo's nose, whatever foam it's made of, refracts light and becomes soooooo many colors. You can see hints of yellow, orange, purple, blue... green sometimes. That can only be achieved if you airbrush, like Palisades did. But the standard is a very light bluish purple, if not a very light...

Where's the love for Rocky and Bullwinkle?

Yeah... places like Best Buy and Wal*Mart rarely have what you're looking for. BB doesn't even care about DVD's anymore... Blu-Rays, maybe... but it's impossible to find anything that you can't find anywhere else, and cheaper for that matter. You may have to order online, and there's no telling...

Where's the love for Rocky and Bullwinkle?

Where do you buy your DVD's? The complete fifth season has been available for a month shy of a year now. it's just incredibly impossible to find. I saw it once. Probably at an FYE... one that's probably gone by now. I saw the fourth season within a week of it coming out, ditto the complete...

Funko POP! Muppet figures coming in 2012

If they're smart, they'll break with tradition and put pupils on these babies. Dr. Teeth looks wonderfully stylized with them, even though they really also need to make the eyes more like glasses. Maybe give Gonzo a purple beak too...

Where's the love for Rocky and Bullwinkle?

Like I said, I have no idea what's going on with the Universal Parks, if anything is still there or not... but I do know Classic Media has the distribution and marketing rights now. There was a Universal partnership up until the movie tanked... then there was nothing for years until Classic...
