    When you need to rant...

The Sonic fanbase frustrates me so much, I don't even understand how they're still around. I mean, look at this. Make sure to bring some popcorn. Fans always debate, it's natural for people to have different opinions. But it's important to respect people's opinions. Also, he's a talking blue...

Pixar: Are the glory days over?

Brad Bird's Pixar films seem to have more depth than others. Ratatouille was one of my favorites, it wasn't really a "kiddy" film, but more like a "kids can watch it" type film.

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

People seem to have forgotten that PG is to the MPAA like E10+ is to the ESRB. A prime example is The Lorax, there was nothing in the movie that justified it getting rated PG (it didn't even have much toilet humor). Also, The Muppets got PG'd all because of that one "fart shoes" joke that...

    Future Dr. Seuss Films

I don't really understand it, either. It's not trying to bring back anyone's childhood, because it's almost completely different from the original. It's nigh impossible to make a 90-minute feature film based off of a 20-sentence kid's book without straying away from the source material...

New Sesame Street Post Breakfast Cereals

I don't see why these cereals need to be made when you can just buy Cheerios. I guess it's because of the extremely mild fruity taste.

The best and worst uses of Flash animation

The best uses of Flash would probably be Wow Wow Wubbzy and the new Mickey Mouse shorts. They don't have the uncanny movements and library expressions like other Flash cartoons have. I've seen some very impressive Flash work done by fans like this: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/574257

Pixar: Are the glory days over?

The only Pixar I didn't really enjoy was Cars 2 (I haven't seen Brave). Cars didn't really need a sequel. The Incredibles is what needs a sequel.

Videos: Muppets Most Wanted videos with Ross Lynch and Debby Ryan

The infamous "fart shoes" joke really rustled a lot of fan's jimmies. I'm not really bothered by it at all, it's just one joke. Some other (typically CGI) movies have way more rude jokes that make the fart shoes innocent in comparison. The joke was probably inserted to get the movie PG rated...

    Future Dr. Seuss Films

I meant that movie versions of children's books seem to add unnecessary characters to the film (or maybe that's just me).

Favorite cover from The Green Album?

What was your favorite cover from the cover compilation, "Muppets: The Green Album"? My favorite was probably Airbourne Toxic Event's cover of "The Wishing Song". Some of the songs on there sounded to much like the originals (The Fray's cover of "Mahna Mahna"), but this one sounded original...

    Sex and Violence

I actually liked the format of S&V better than TMS, I think the cutting from skit to skit was better than introducing each skit/fading into the next one. I think Kermit's a better host than Nigel, though. S&V also didn't have much musical numbers, besides the Electric Mayhem singing "Love Ya...

    Future Dr. Seuss Films

It would make more sense to make the books into short films instead of full-length feature films. When they're put into feature films, lots of padding/filler is added. (not to mention the annoying animal-sidekick that's not even in the source material)

Videos: Muppets Most Wanted videos with Ross Lynch and Debby Ryan

The fact that tween stars get forced into the film kinda got lampshaded with Selena Gomez's "My manager told me to be here" line in TM.

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

You ever notice how most family movies are rated PG for "Rude humor"? That applies to like every CGI movie released in the past three years. Remember, Airplane and Monty Python and the Holy Grail were rated PG (though maybe that has to do with there being no PG-13 at the time) The MPAA and the...

    Sesame Street in 1969

I'm glad they did away with the repetitive repetition of repetitive skits. Sure, they got stuck in my head (like they're supposed to), but it just got annoying. Also, it had some overly-long scenes, like the infamous "Hey Cow"... ...oh, man. That went on forever. It actually started...

    The official Anything Muppets thread

It's strange how the early seasons (or was it just the first season?) actually called the AMs "Anything People" and various cast members would paste eyes/noses/etc. onto them. It's not really breaking the fourth wall because it never mentioned that they were puppets (UNLIKE MUPPETS WIZARD OF OZ).
