Could someone please catch the PBS airing of this episode just so we could know which of these Cookie and Rosita bits aired at the end so we can add it to Muppet Wiki?
It was nice to see the Count do the bookends. It's about time he did something other than the number of the day. My favorite part of the new Elmo's World was Mr. Noodle's poodle Schmoodle pushing a shopping cart with all his toys.
This was a fun appearance. I liked how Piggy joined the competition and tried to cheat by ordering stake frites and then having Gordon Ramsey cook it for her. The part where the Swedish Chef hugged the girl who thought she would be leaving was very touching.
Here are more fun statistics for you: 13 episodes were edited for season 41, 10 for 42, 8 for 43, 7 for 44, and 6 for 45. So season 41 had most edits, 45 had least.
Here's the latest episode. In it, Mark reveals that he and Ryan Dillon will do a live Google hangout as their characters Frank the Horse and Kip Baffle. Also Nate reveals that the next guest is Andrew James Spooner!
This street story was interesting. I liked the line, How does she play with no lips? Beautifully, were you not listening? I'm guessing John Kennedy played the AM. The song with Little Big Town was fun. Smartie playing Elmo's Song was cool.
JD Hansel: If you watch Scooter's appearance at the TED Conference years ago, that's where you first see David Rudman starting to develop his Scooter. And if you watch that, and then you watch the Muppets on ABC, then you go "okay, this is Scooter." This is just the character that he has become...
I want @D'Snowth to weigh in on these quotes from the latest episode of Getting Felt Up a Puppetry Podcast.
Dan Becker: I love the future, except for when the future is used to edit out arm-rods in Muppet productions.
Kirk Thatcher: Oh really? You don't like that?
Dan: Nate and I are big arguers...
To be fair, Frank only saw the first 16 minutes, so he doesn't know how good the show actually is.
JD Hansel: When I first saw Muppet Christmas Carol, I was used to seeing Kermit in the forefront, and now here comes a film that makes Kermit Bob Cratchit and reduces Miss Piggy's role even lesser...
The street story was fun. We got our second instance of Noel MacNeal puppeteering Big Bird this season. The song Elmo sang was very good. It's nice to see them finally air the Grover trying to feed a plant bit. I just have to wonder: When are we ever gonna see Mr. Noodle's other brother?
How about we talk about what songs we hope they'll sing at the concert? Someone on YT says they want Matt's Robin to sing Bless Us All and that'd be great. I'd love to hear Piggy sing Never Before. Because after hearing Eric's awesome performance of Something So Right, I wanna hear Piggy sing...
The latest episode has Kirk Thatcher and James Wojtal. Fair warning: The episode's almost 3 hours long, so you might wanna browse the Muppet Wiki or something while you listen. But in it, Kirk reveals he's writing the Muppets' show at the Hollywood Bowl with Jim Lewis:
Just wanna warn @Daffyfan2003 and anyone else who hasn't seen this that this episode airs on on PBS this Monday. Get ready to meet a new character we'll likely never see again, considering it's Joey using that high-pitched voice he always uses.
