Cosgrove/Hall? I know of them. They did that real nice "Wind in the Willows series back in the 80's. Actually I just got a few episodes of that the other day as well as their version of the original story. Nice little series. Nut I wouldn't have thought them a bog enough company to be...
Yes, he's part of the BTL creators along with Noman Stiles and Micheal Frith. Incidentally, if you look at the bottom of the screen after the BTL credits when the Sirius thinking logo comes up, it says "For Jim, Jon, Jeff, Joe, Jeanne, and Ted" That's Henson, Stone, Raposo, Moss, Jeanne is an...
I'm sorry to hear you feel that way. I understand your disapointment and frustartion, but personally it sounds like a silly reason to NOT buy an action figure, but that's just me. If you like a figure or a series of figures, you buy it. if not, then you don't. Oh well! Your loss I guess...
Frogboy,
hey Jamie,
Eric doesn't do Cookie. That's Dave (Baby Bear) Rudman. I also hear that whenFfrank used to do/ does Cookie he had an agreement with the directors/producers that if something went wrong with the take, Frank would be the first to know so he could immedialty abort the...
Looks good, old friend! Wow you acatully finished your marionette...mine was dismatled sometime ago with the promise of turningthe usable parts into a rod puppet. Site looks great. man!

Yeah, it dpends on the foam. I've never acatully worjed with the reticulated foam the Muppets use. It does take the dye but doesn't take it well. I think you have to treat it (with salt I believe) and that should help. The commercialy available stuff that you get at like a joaAnn's or a rag...
Oh neat, Thanks for the info. those will be great videos to have. Hace they switched thew band to covered guys? I hadn't noticed. The photos I have is a recent one of the old Teeth's or a diplsay one. Anyway, he was definitly not covered. you could see pores of the foam and just make out...
Dr. Teeth is sculpted from a sheet foam. I saw him up close in an exhibit once and he is beautiful!! I think I have a good close up shot of him somewhere around that may make it easier to explain. Oj and seomthing else about Dr. Teeth, and this is true for a few other muppets too, he's no...
Yeah, you can carve it too and some puppets are made that way, but I like using a sheet of foam and 'sculpting' it. and it's just thatt...it's a sheet of foam, if you like, send me an e-mail and I 'll see if I can send you some photos or something. Talk to you later...
Getting back to the John Lennon thing (kinda), has anyoen noticed that signature 1110 is Jeff Moss. That threw me for a second. but that probably is someone named Jeff Moss so it is possible that John Leenon is in fact someone named John Lennon. Still I thought it was kinda neat/odd...
Any idea when we can see the trimmed Floyd, ken? The moustache length has been my only real complain on any of the guys and Floyd is a character near and dear to my heart (hence the reason, the moustche lenght has been my only real complaint.)...
Saw it loved it. I can see a few places where critics wouldn't like it. Although I actually read one review where the author said "Fans will love it! Critics are gonna hate it!So ignore everything we say." And then he went on to slam it. Yoda was great. In fact, it was a real departure for...
I would suggest getting a copy of "The Foam Book" It's available at www.puppeteers.org and a few other places in the net. It's one of the best books on making soft-sculpture puppets. You can get commercailly avaliable scotch foam at just about any Jo-Ann's or Rag Shop. It's best to work with...
Greetings Saxman,
Welcome to MC. I'm Matt aka Matleo. I couldn't coem up with a favorite Muppet to use as a name (and had been Matleo at our old orum board so I stuck with it over here. But I am also a huge Zoot fan (hence his appearance on the side of the screen. And I see your...
Oh Sid Caesar was? I must have missed it any time I saw their list? Like I said I didn't pay TOO much attention to it. it's just TV guide actin like they're all that again.

I'm inclined to agree with Scott and Zoot/Dingo that if I knew certain others were set in stone than I would feel more comfortable with it. I also agree that it wold feel a little odd putting Pepe in a TMS line. But I could understand putting him in a "Muppets" line. I hink what a lot of us...
I'm kind of surprised that "Sid Caeser's Your Show of Shows" wasn't on there. I mean, it's practcially the grandfather of 20th Sentury Americacn comedy having been the start for someo f the most prolific comedy minds in the bsiness including, Carl Reiner, Mel Brooks, Neil Simon, Woody Allen...
Hey, I was onderin where you got the impression that there was such a negative attitutde on scalpers. I was just rereading lot of the treads and posts on the scalped Teeth fgis and haven't found anything. Just the mention that it was happening...not neccessarily nyone for or against it just...
