Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
I totally agree. This series has been pretty darn good overall so far, with a great deal of hilarious bits.
Certain members here are being way too hard on this series and even harder on poor Angelo and Ms. Cora and need to give them much more of a chance.
Besides, we only have a very small...
Just for fun.
The Muppets and their YouTube viral videos have won the Webby Awards two years in a row so far. First,'s "Ode to Joy" won the 2009 Webby's, followed by "Bohemian Rhapsody" in 2010.
Out of the 4 Muppet viral videos that debuted on YouTube this year ("Beaker's Ballad"...
Another question for Jim Lewis:
I know you may not be able to answer this one, but do you think you can tell us why it has been taking so long for the Muppet Show Season 4 DVD set (which was officially announced at the 2009 D23 Expo) to be released?
It's times like this that it would be nice if Gelfling Waldo of The Muppet Newsflash would pop around again and give us some answers.
He doesn't seem to be so active anymore and his Muppet Newsflash site is very rarely updated these days.
EDIT: Sometimes, I think another possible reason...
As a side note, I noticed that :boo: & didn't seem to be as overly-negative towards the show in the first season as they became as the series progressed.
Guess the more Muppet Shows they sat through, the more cynical and jaded they became towards the show overall.
Some that I recall at the top of my head:
Connie Stevens:
-Teenager in Love
-Close to You
Joel Grey:
-Wilkommen
-The Talk Spot
-Fozzie's Monologue
Ruth Buzzi:
-The Talk Spot
-The Panel Discussion
Jim Nabors:
-Money
-Gone with the Wind
-Fozzie's Monologue
Paul Williams:
-Just an...
No. That's not what I was responding to.
I was responding to the remarks against the film being in 3D instead of 2D. That's what I found prejudiced, since 2D and 3D animation both deserve to exist and co-exist.
Don't judge a book by its cover.
In this case, don't judge a film by its trailer.
"Tangled" could end up being a lot better than what any trailers could be leading some to believe. You never know.
I'm going to have to disagree with you on the Studio DC programs, which, IMO, do not deserve all this flack on here and are actually kinda underrated, at least now. Those specials were necessary in an attempt to get the often-hard-to-reach tween demographic interested in the Muppets and make...
What? More discrimination?
There ARE at least some tweens out there who do love the Muppets, so please be courteous, respectful and think before you talk.
