The Muppet Show's closing theme changed at least 3 times throughout the show's five-year run. Which versions of the theme were your favorites in the lot?
Me? It's kinda hard to choose, because all 3 of them are great in their own ways, in addition to being a great, catchy, memorable tune. :sing:
Could it maybe be Fred the Dragon?
Speaking of the harder-to-spot characters in the poster, I can also see Gloat hidden behind the Cactus at the very top.
If it's alright for me to bump up this thread, I recall reading somewhere that the finale musical number of the movie is going to include at least 150 Muppets in it.
On the same token, this Muppet Mindset article lists the Muppets that we've spotted in the trailers so far...
Actually, Sweetums in "The Frog Prince" was performed by two people: Carl Banas (who provided his voice) and Jerry Nelson (who wore the Sweetums costume).
Hope that new trailer makes its way onto YouTube soon.
Were there any new or different characters in the newer trailer? And was the monster shot the only new bit shown?
Any other new scenes in that version of the trailer besides that?
And which monsters were in the shot you're referring to? Was it only Sweetums, Thog and the Mutations or did any of the other fully-body monsters (Mean Mama, DogLion, etc.) appear too?
I wonder why they need to do re-shootings.
They're not going to be able to bring all the same people/extras that they had on had for the original shooting back in January.
I'd like to think a 2-hour running time for the movie will be a very good thing. As someone else said, it'll allow more time to tell a really fleshed-out story.
Another advantage that I see to the running time is that it'll allow more time to show and re-introduce even more long-lost Muppet...
