I can't help but feel that this piece Flanderizes Piggy's character again.
Why can't the writers take a cue from the recent theatrical films and fully bring her character back to who she once was?!
Otherwise, I REALLY hope that it's all just an act or a skit when Piggy & Kermit do that...
In regards to the whole thing about them saying that the Muppets are stupid, I think some of you are taking it the wrong way and misinterpreting the words of Stoller and Bobin.
I highly doubt that they even imply that the Muppets are stupid in a "Too Dumb to Live" kind of way, just that...
Why are people trying to take down the Segel/Stoller/Bobin Muppet movies? Why are some of you trying to hate on them because of Frank not being involved?

I don't think so. More likely, he's referring to the two-page spreads of Kermit saying "Time's fun when you're having flies" and Animal saying "Eat drums!". In place of those two spreads, they could've included characters such as:
