Hmmmn, well, I can't say that I'm thrilled either. When Ken alluded to another line of Muppet toys that hadn't even been discussed yet, I think many of us were hoping for puppets.
As Ken said, this isn't a new idea, as McFarlane has been supersizing his Movie Maniacs line into 18" figures...
"emcee Lilly", "Muppet Lilly", "Lilly's Pad" (with a Kermit avatar)?
I bet all the girls, Heidi Klum included, call you "Tiger Lilly". :D
Wokka, wokka!
Sorry, I'm sure you've heard that ten thousand times. ;)
"I'll show you what I think of your curse, you mewling little, LILLY...
Now that you mention it, I do remember reading a long time ago about some of the Simpsons voice actors grumbling about the pennies they were making from the figs.
I honestly don't know how the Simpsons figs can be so cheap. I know they don't have much articulation, but Playmates really gives a lot of bang for your buck compared to other toy lines, especially when you add in the cost of voice technology and licensing.
Having said that, I could care...
Yeah, I saw that karmadorje. I don't include auctions like that in the sales report, because I feel like that's an aberration and it doesn't reflect the current market value.
It's the seller's fault it sold so low, because they underestimated the value of the piece and put their buy it now...

Notice the lack of pupils. I also find it strange that this particular Beaker has been conveniently removed from his baggie.
Here's an Invisible Beaker in baggie...

Yeah, actually Grail, I do think being one of the biggest jerks around is his fault. ;)
Even if he's being a bootie kisser to the actors because they demand it, that doesn't mean he should get to poop on everyone else to make up for it.
Yeah, I really don't care for the promoter myself. Actually, I find him to be one of the biggest jerks around, unless you're an actor on a sci fi show, or a sports celebrity, then he kisses your butt.
I avoid him like the plague when I see him at the convention each year. Other than that...
I'm not Ken, but I can field this one. The Willy Wonka you saw was indeed in Toyfare. It was an ANDGOR.COM custom figure. They've done about a dozen different large custom figures for Toyfare, including Inigo Montoya for you Princess Bride fans out there. So it was an unlicensed and...
