Oh, I get it now. You guys just all want Annie Sue so that you can use the "Piggie head switch" trick from the other thread to get an accurate Muppet Show Piggy body to put her head on! ;)
Think about it Slim. Specialized coffin designs seem to be working out okay for Kiss, with these "Kiss Kaskets":

Maybe you could talk Palisades into making Muppet coffins. "Muppet Memorials" ;)
That's the Greatest American Hero? Man, I thought it was that wrestler that puts his hands up in a diamond shape for the crowd. The avatar size must be doing in an injustice. It looks like he has a goatee! Now that you've said it, I can barely make out the chest logo. Good thing you switch...
"Craiton"? Isn't that the health "vitamins" Barry Bonds is taking right now? ;)
What has some inherent problems? The Craiton? I'm very skeptical of skin over the armature of the Enterprise figures. I'm worried that the skin won't last, either from decay, cracking from the test of time, or...
Cherry,
Ouch, the Australian dollar is one of the few worse off than my Canadian dollar. Last I heard the buck in Oz was worth about fifty cents U.S.
Glad to hear that there may be a local distributor there for you. If there isn't, you can email me and I can put you in touch with one...
Re: Re: Aaaaaaarghhh!
"YES! I would like a second Vanishing Cream Beaker figure and I am
an INTERNATIONAL based customer. I have enclosed my Money Order for
$32.00 ($15.00 plus $17.00 S&H)"
That's part of the email sent out to those interested in signing up for the club.
I don't know...
I have the perfect stuff for sticker removal. It's called "Bestine". You can buy it at a local craft store like Michael's. Bestine was made to be a rubber cement thinner. People use it to remove the rubber cement from the backs of old photographs taken out of scrapbooks etc... So you know...
Re: Well, I can finally ask this... what's YOUR wishlist for the Muppet movies figures?
This is my must have too. I still pine for the Igel tinfoil plush Gonzo.
Considering that they only carry five items total in the action figure section of the toys they offer, I'm very afraid they'll never put Fozzie online. But one of the items is the Muppet Labs playset, so that's a good sign.
I'm with you all the way on the "Power of the Force" strategy of producing Muppet toys from all their various mediums. Just don't give us any horrid card art like that "Power of the Jedi" card crud with Obi-Wan jumping out of Vader's head. That was awful. Hasbro must have asked the guy who...
Compared to twenty years ago, a much much greater percentage of people are going to keep their toys mint in box, so I don't really see long term gains being there (any more than say inflation). Lots of people are going to have these figures sealed in the packages down the road, so I say why...
LOL! Seriously though, any customizer here worth his or her salt knows all about the "boil and pop method". Warm a mug of water in the microwave for a minute, then submerge the toy in the water for thirty seconds or so. That makes the plastic really soft and pliable. Take the figure out, and...
Yeah, Playmates doesn't have a collector's club though, so I guess you'd have to weigh the pros and cons vs selling an obscure fig directly to your fan base, or giving it away for free to boost retailer confidence in your product. I guess if you're preventing "buy back money" from going out of...
Yep, TRU Canada was the only retailer to carry Simpsons figures here, and we only ever got Wave 1 stuff (never got any other waves). Our Wave 1 stuff came about six months after the U.S. got their figures (they were past wave two already). So we got this glut of "leftover" U.S. wave 1 stuff...
