yeah, but jim and steve's kermit are almost identical, it's not a big change, (steve's sounds a little younger),so that wasn't a big deal, at first i disliked Fozzie's new voice(a little too yoda-ish) but at least his character's the same, in fact in the NBC character he was much more like...
what was the first half of the henson hour like? i know the second half was story teller, but the first was what? and how many eps were there? (if some one could go into detail that'd be great
either saying goodbye, or rowlf preforming "what a wonderful world"(**** song gets me every time, even if preformed by a dog) does anybody know when that was on TMS i only have a recording of it
Originally, back in the 70's the big 5 were Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo, Piggy, and Rowlf. these 5 made the muppet show what it was(as well as scooter, who waas certainly the 6th). But since henson's death Animal has replaced Rowlf, and now, somehow i think pepe has squeezed in. I love these two...
yuck, no the only format that's gonna work w/ a new show is the classic one. there far too many characters for a sitcom to work, and as much as we all hate to admit it, the muppets are wholesome. not as wholesome as everybody thinks, but still very wholresome. they knew this when they were...
i heard a rumor that they're considering putting the muppets tonight episodes on DVD, is there any truth to this(i hope so!!)
and does anyone know when the next set of muppet show dvds are set to arrive i've got 1-15, but i need more!
i didn't mean to say it the way i did, i know he isn't british, in the commentary, henson mentioned that in one scene his fake accent was stronger than another scene. and is clash Sam's regular preformer and voice guy now that Oz isn't around as much?
Oh, and how come clash's signature...
Did Rowlf ever appear on MT? cuz on IMdb it says baretta played him, but i don't remeber him being there, and if so did he ever speak? (i think baretta does an adequite rowlf, it's not perfect, but better than nothing, and i think everyone would agree we'd probably want a slightly different...
i was wondering, who played sam in muppet treasure island? the credits say Oz did, but bryan henson said is was kevin clash, can someone clear this up?
thanks everyone, i hope they premeire the show soon. but i jeard it might be a sitcom, which i don't know how it could work. i really like to see the original show revived w/ the new characters added and newer hosts(the theme song must not change though!) oh well, i can always dream
thanks
hi everyone. i'm new, and i have a few questions, please help me.
Why'd oz leave the muppets?
how come i haven't seen swedish chef, rowlf, janice, and a few others tyalk in awhile?(i know henson did chef & rowlf, but couldn't they find a replacement?)
where's Link Hogthrob??
How...
