What was Our Place? Rowlf is my favorite Muppet, so I must know!
last year i remeber hearing sometinthing, like "if the nbc movie is succesful they'd do anotherr one next yaer" is this still true? cuz that first one did quite well
i agree things did goa bit far w/ kermit. The daily show interview should be the limit, but the muppets are meant to be adults, rowlf has made several references to drinking beer and it ain't a big dea, but i think itm was a little far on kimmel.
And animal's voice did suck, who was that...
I wqasn't suggesting they should pull pepe just to give rowlf a role, but i think they shoould tone him down so he doesn't get tired, i think in time people may get sick of him.
The big 5 in my perception are the 5 most important muppets, yes animal's always been the fan-fave i'm fine w/...
scratch that, i just saw the video & the making of. That was great! Rowlf spoke for extended sentences, it was excellent. Granted, his voice slipped into bobo a bit, but it was no big deal. also, Bill's gotta change the laugh, rowlf has a silent laugh(check vet's hospital). Thanks for the...
i'll try to find that video, also i've never seen the full weezer video, do you know where i could see it(w/o sitting in front of TV watching Mtv for 6 hours straight)
Yeah, it annoys me too the fozzie too a back seat in MTI, but MCC all the muppets did, and to be honest MCC and the first...
Actually rowlf never officially retired, they just couldn't find a voice for him. Scooter WAS officially retired until VMC and i think they're trying to get both of them back in their old places. Granted Rowlf didn't say much in VMC (i don't think they're giving rowlf or bill a fair chance). He...
Rowlf was definately in the big five, at times he was more significant than even piggy. GMC he wasn't big in cuz it was a movie really about kermit, hensre, rowlf takes a back seat. Rowlf is the second oldest muppet still in existance, and his character actually came into the major public eye...
as what characters? i've never heard him sing, and MT is but a vague memeory.
I'm very glad to hear this though, rowlf's character revolves on his soothing melodies and gentle, heartfelt singing(as well as horrible jokes)
in MCC, when they decided Gonzo would narrate, they needed someone for him to talk to, but wasn't a character in the film, and couldn't be so big that he took away from gonzo, Rizzo(who was little known at the time) was a perfect choice
