I think this is an excellent idea for a special. It's such a simple idea but there is so much potential for classic Muppet humor. Plus, it would really be great to just see the characters out and about again in the real world. I'd love to see this happen.

I really want to get Reporter Kermit, but I have a feeling he's going to be too pricey for my budget. The improvement over the MR Kermit is amazing though. He looks like he could just come to life and start reporting at any minute! Rizzo looks great as well, but I'm not sure I'd want him...

Gonzo would probably be my next choice if I was going to do another replica. He'd be significantly more difficult that Kermit or Rowlf, though. If I was going to spend that much time and money doing a puppet, I think I'd rather make it something original!

Thought I'd use my first post to share an appearance that literally just aired. Statler & Waldorf "appeared" on the Tonight Show heckling President Obama. They simply used clips from the Muppet Show, but it was still pretty cool to see!
