    Question about size

Well, if a puppet's body (a foam one that is) should measure from a little below the wrist to a bit above the elbow, so as not to restrict movement, then that gives you a "yard stick" to figure out your proportions. It's a matter of how you want them to look. I too was suprised by how small a...

    My new puppets

Great puppet... has that cute "Zoe/Abby" quality to it... I'd say this one ties with your alien you posted above as one of your best works. Keep it up!

    Eyes & Glue Troubles...

It could be that the glue has little to adhere to on the eye, being too smooth... the weight just is overpowering the adhesion. You could try scrapping the underside of the eye with a file... give the glue a place to grip at. At least that's my first impression...

    TVTV enters the 21st century...

When those dvds go on sale you soooo have my money! I loved it... actually laughed out loud (LOL) to a few scenes... I am offically a fan. The t-shirts are being jotted down on my list to Santa as we speak... Man, I hope this show catches on! Thanks for involuntarily sharing it!

    talking corn puppet pattern

Not sure how much it will help, but using a ventriloquist vent style puppet mechanism may work... it would take a bit of figuring out but I'm sure the basic idea could work. Try looking over http://www.alstevens.com/ventriloquism/fred.html especially the sections on headstick and jaws... Hope...

    Gloomy Roomies

I enjoyed it... was particularly tickled by the opening scene with the main character driving up to the house. It's little things like that which makes a project shine. Nice work. Quick design question for you... Are the puppets based on the comic, or the comic based on the puppets? (I know, a...

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year for a Puppeteer!

A little late... but Hancock Fabrics had a Columbus Day sale today... various fleeces were $1 (US) per yard... Also, Walmart has fake eyelashes in various colors in their Halloween aisle, for about $1.98 (again US) per set... They look awesome on my puppets.
