This is a great idea.
I'm thinking you should get in contact with Robert Iger and pitch the idea. Seriously.
They could run these snippets during their primetime slots during the same show every week, almost as a commercial, except 5-10 minutes long. 24 episodes, you've got a feature length...
For those that haven't seen this controversial footage, here's a link:

Clearly Kermit's voice is way off. :)
There's a brief clip of her singing in here:

Also... a black and white pic of it:

Just watching some old footage, and I think that Piggy should have on something similar as to the Roger Moore episode when she's singing "on a slow boat to china".
It's full of sequins, she's got her boa, and her traditional gloves.
I'm hoping to see a Ma Bear figure, or a Dr. Bunsen Honeypig. (granted he was never shown, but it'd be nice to see a rendering of what he may look like)
Also, on the subject of steppin' out characters, how about Steppin' Out Electric Mayhem.
I've started ripping the audio from some episodes, but the quality hasn't always been the greatest for some. The following is what I don't have of their performances.
I'll post the songs by episode:
Guest Star/Title -----------Song
Sex and Violence --------For the Birds
Ruth Buzzi...
Hello all,
I'm looking for any songs sung by The Electric Mayhem, whether it be live or otherwise.
I've got most of their stuff off of various albums, so anything else would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

I, for one, would not approve. One Muppet = One Performer.
Muppet Vision 3D is great, and I'm all for the Muppets making more regular appearances, but not if its going to be some hack-job to boost Disney's popularity.
I was a little disappointed with the performance as well. But, in Disney/Steve/Artie's defence, it's just one performance, if it becomes a recurring theme, then we'll have a problem. Everyone is entitled to having a bad night once in awhile, even Kermit.
I say we should all take a few deep...
So far.. great story!
my question to you is, are you doing the original star wars.. or the special edition release? B/C Jabba the Hut makes an appearence in the SE, and I'm kind of interested in seeing who would play him.
I would love to see her wearing something way too extravagant.. some dress with a feather boa or something along those lines. Something like this:

But until then, I bow to your greatness...
