Does anyone here think that the use of puppetry will fade away? I watch television way too much, and it occurs to me that the majority of muppet-like viewing is on PBS. Bear in the Big Blue House; Between the Lions; Sesame Street.
I never see movies where puppetry is in great use. CGI seems...
No... you should definately not rent this movie. You should buy it!
It's a terrific show with muppet effects that prove why Henson was the very best at his work. David Bowie was perfectly cast, singing some of the coolest songs in his carreer IMO.
Anyway, as you can see, I liked the movie. I...
I'm a little ashamed. I just saw the first two episodes for the first time yesterday. I love this show. Naturally I've seen a couple of episodes on SciFi, but I saw them out'f sequence and was a little lost. Great show, though. I hope the fans will be rewarded for their efforts.
Blackbird sings in the dead of night..
Take these broken wings and learn
to fly.
All your life,
You were only waiting for this moment
to arise.
I love that song. :D
I don't quite know how to resond. I mean really. What have we reduced ourselves to? There is little reason for all this carnage. The Golden Girls have had their day in the sun. If they gathered a folling along the way, so be it. I will not stand by and witness this hate mongering any longer....I...
Well, I saw a thumbs up for Abbey Road...well deserved. Here's my kudos for Revolver. Recorded in 1966, it is one of their many mile-stones.
I may draw a lot of boos and hisses this way, but I think the greatest Beatle out of the bunch was Lennon. If you like the beatles, I strongly recommend...
I have many a pet I wish were still here. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to resurect them nor can I remember where I burried them to obtain a DNA sample for the cloning procedure.
From a personal stand point, even if I had those things, I would not go through with it. I beleive that...
I feel terrible. I once left a nickle as a tip to a waiter that really did his worst to please my party and me. I left it balancing on a straw held up by the ice in my glass as a final insult. I was only 21 at the time, but I guess that's no excuse :o
Re: Welcome Back!
*pulls at collar...squirming under the intense rays of the interogation lamp*
i....i..I don't know... What is the price of tea in China?.....Can I have a glass? Where.......where am i?
mommie:cry:
Hello. I've been asked via e-mail to post myself here and get to know you wonderful CMFs (crazy Muppet fans).
My name is Dirth, buit you may all call me Patrick. I go by other names too, and if you are attacked by a sudden surge of creativity, I'm open to suggestions.
You probably don't...
What?! You don't like Mup......@#%$, I thought you were cool!!
Guess I was mistaken :attitude:
Just kiddin' ;)
Thank for the thanks. I tend to be a bit preachy, and I was a little worried that this thread was coming off that way. But, you said a mouthful, and pointed out the true...
I honestly thought that this might be a joke since yesterday was April fools, but then my wife showed up at where I work and told me the same thing last night.
Does anyone know the reason for his death? He wasn't all that old. Only about 50 or so.
I'll miss his bit parts. He was excellent...
*snicker...giggle...BAHAHAHAHAHA:excited: *
Sorry. I don't usually laugh like that, but I read your verse and looked at your av at the same time. It totally matches. I can actually hear Fozzie belting out those words :D
