You took the words right out of my mouth. I have other choices as well, though.
Choose:
Jeff Dunham: That would be a good combination. I could just see Walter making fun of the Muppets along with Statler and Wardolf......:boo:
Frank Calendo: That would be great to see him do his...
Who's the better director? Who's the better puppeteer?
For me, this is kind of tough. They both have good qualities.
Jim Henson:
Director: Created many fantasy worlds and his his puppetry very well in all his films. Also, a very imangitive and creative director.
Puppeteer: Created...
I'm also glad to see that! It's about time his work was noticed by the AFI.
If was a list for animation in films, there should be one for puppetry. I think TDC and Labryinth would easily make the list, as well as the muppet movies. The Jim Henson Company would dominate a list like that...
Do you ever wish that Sesame Street was real?
I know I do. I would love to walk down the street and see Big Bird and Snuffy playing with each other. I would love also love seeing Super Grover flaying through the air, yelling, "Down! Down! And away!" I would also love seeing all the humans. How...
Since I'm starting to get the hang of hand rod and hand glove puppets, like the Muppets. I'm very intrested in learning how to build and operate marrionettes. I'm also intrested in learning how to build and operate animatronic puppets. Anyone know how to learn these types of puppetry?
That's a good way of putting it.
I myself also don't like kid's shows that talk down to kids. I like the kind of shows that kids will like and at the same time adults will enjoy it as well.
Also, you mention shock value, as an amateur comedian myself, I've seen guys say some most nasty...
I can take it or leave it. I can sit through it and find it funny, but it depends on the context, for me. If it's something like, Puppet Up! then I can watch it. However, sometimes it can too far with the humor, like the movie Team America World Police, it was funny, but some scenes were just...
Which one are you?
I think I'm a mixture of a few. In some ways I'm like Kermit, becuase I have alot of ideas for projects and try to lead the whole thing. In other ways I'm like Fozzie, because I like to make people laugh, but at the same time, I'm pretty incecure, just like Fozzie. In some...
I couldn't agree more. I mean, I'm not a professional puppeteer yet, I'm justing starting out, but I understand where you're coming from. I just spoke with this who does commercials and I had an idea where puppets could be used in his commercials and he looked at me like I was nuts and went on...
