I didn't think Spike does his own cinematography, but I could be wrong. I know he's very involved in most aspects of his films, though.
I have to disagree though - Mel Brooks can be very edgy. I mean, look at Blazing Saddles. It was very outside the box to do a Western focusing on a black...
As for Dave, he is working on a TV show called "Opportunity Knocks." Yeah, I hadn't heard of it either, but it's listed on IMDB.
Fred Savage had his role in "Austin Powers in Goldmember" as well as his great, but shortlived TV show "Working". Paul Reubens just got arrested again for child...
No Spike Lee - please. His movies are WAY too preachy, and you wouldn't be able to get any Muppet zaniness into the film at all, he'd be too concentrated on attempting to solve racism by having a struggle between races like in Do the Right Thing. The personalities of Henson and Lee really...
As President of the U of Minnesota's Mel Brooks club I have to voice my opinion on this.
I agree - Mel's brand of humor, specifically Blazing Saddles and The Producers is great, however you would not be able to make a movie like that today. People would think it's insensitive and get all...
The preshow to Muppetvision 3D hasn't changed - this summer it was the same as when I saw it in 1995, unless they've changed and changed back. Unless it was never Richard to begin with, which could be possible, it sounds a little different.
Jeremy
The only Richard characters in MV3D movie are Beaker, Statler, and Sweetums.
Scooter is in the preshow, but he makes no appearance in the film itself. which is a shame - it would have been fun to have him in there.
Jeremy
I prefer that one too, but the MV3D isn't so horrendous. I don't think the eyes can move, the mouth just flaps open. I want to be the guy inside the sweetums costume!!
Jeremy
Actually, the Sweetums costume in MV3D isn't bad at all - but you're right, the Kermit and Piggy costumes aren't very good. No Kermit and Piggy costumes are - they aren't meant to be seen that size - Kermit will always be too fat because human beings are not built the same way Kermit is. Same...
Yes.... so it is Bein' Green.... and not Rainbow Connection... (blushes)
I'm not a Don Henley fan - I don't know why I don't like him, but I don't. But to each his own - that version just doesn't strike me the same way it does you, I guess.
*Slinks into corner, weeping for days and days*...
For a moment there I thought DH meant Don Henley (from Kermit Unpigged). But I don't much care for that version at all - and I've never heard any of the other versions, so I picked Debbie Harry.

I'm prepared to bid on the Muppets. I'll give EMTV $100 and 3 blockbuster rental coupons (but they'd better hurry, they expire at the end of the month.)
But seriously, I think if all the bids are about equal, Disney will win- I think Jim Hill was right.

I live in a college dorm (only for a few more days - then I move home for break, then into an apartment in Disney World) and I'm not afraid to blast Sesame Street or the Muppet Show really loud. And I've got pictures of Jim Henson all over my door. One of my neighbors thinks it's pretty cool...
It appears this is a list of character meet and greet opportunities - where the characters usually hang out. I knew they had Kermit and Piggy costumes (they used them in the "Stars in Motorcars" parade, along with Sweetums, I believe.)
I didn't know they had people out in the costumes...
I do remember the simpsons being on Sesame street - there was a celebrity alphabet song, and it featured Tony Bennett, Rosie, the Simpsons, and a lot more that I can't remember. It was very very brief, but they were there.
