Same here. I saw it last Monday. Today I saw my cousin and she said she liked it too.
The last film I saw though was Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.
It would seem to me as though there are.
I have seen a few Sesame Street discrographies on the net and according to all of them The J Song and Everyone Likes Ice Cream were included. But I have that record and my copy does not have either of those, replacing them with Love Is a Really Good...
The last film I saw was The Dukes Of Hazard. I wasn't expecting much from it but I found it to be a fun movie. It made me want to see the TV series again.
There was a cartoon version of I Dream Of Jeannie. It was made by Hanna-Barbara in 1973. It wasn't a great cartoon really, it didn't bear any relation to the original sitcom. For one thing, we didn't have Major Nelson, instead, we had a teenage surfie named Corey.
Here's my review of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I have to say I have mixed feelings about it. I liked how it was closer to the book as they had promised it would be. The bit about the Indian prince was very funny and unlike some people I thought David Kelly was better than Jack Albertson...
I just thought some of you might like to know that my cousin is getting married this Saturday. My parents and brothers have gone off to attend the wedding, and I am staying home to look after Mum and Dad's farm.
You might be wondering why I haven't gone too. Well you see, I don't enjoy...
Until very recent times Sesame Street used to have the odd apprearance (sp?) of people from other shows and the like. Who among you remembers seeing:
Fonz from Happy Days.
Beetle Bailiy
Jughead from Archie
Edith Ann and Ernestine from Laugh-In
The Simpsons
Max Headroom
Batman and Robin
You didn't quite understand Bear. I didn't mean both shows ended with the same song. I meant that every episode of both programmes ended with the same goodbye song as every other episode. As for the other shows you mention, I never saw them so I had no idea.
I made one mistake in the above post. The production company is Shadow Productions. I guess I got confused because Shadow has a shadow of a barking dog for its logo.
Well, not a lot really, aside from the fact that they are both produced by Barking Dog productions and Mitchell Kreigman is involved with both. One major thing they have is that every episode of both seires ends with the same song, which says goodbye.
Anyone else notice that?
Everything I have read about the season 1 set sounds good. I hope it does well and that it will lead to Disney releasing it in Australia. If it does I will buy it. Same with Fraggle Rock. :)
:)
I'll say. I live near the VIC?SA border and I saw the last show on VIC TV (now WIN TV). Right away they went into repeats and they just jarred after "Change of Address". Worse, they got to "The Gorg Who Would Be King" and replaced it with the inferor animated version! I would love to see...
All I've read about this DVD set sounds great. I do believe they are hoping to bring it out in Australia, so if and when they do I will certainly buy it. It will remind me of some of the best days of my life.
After reading all that, I can't believe I used to wish my parents would get divorced. How glad I am now that they didn't! I don't know what to say, other than I pray that God will help you through this awkard time.
Well, I wouldn't call myself a new member because I joined some time ago, but better late than never!
I guess you would say, I got into the Muppets at whatever age I was when first I saw Sesame Street. Even at 33 I still watch that programme, a fact that my father and brothers have been known...
I was just wondering if anyone out there had that book? I never had it myself but a friend of mine did.
I was one of those books that you could order with your child's name in it. It had Big Bird and Snuffle-Upagus searching for something for every letter of the alphabet and everything the Bird...
