I think you might be thinking of Zeperdee. Yes there was a cow. her name was Ermintrude. And yes I remember Dr. Suggles, but I was never really into that show.
I just wondered if anyone out there remembers this show as well as I do? Here in Australia, The Magic Roundabout was on the same channel as Sesame Street - ABC - and if my memory serves me correctly, in the late 70's The Magic Roundabout came on after the afternoon edition of Sesame Street. I...
Fraggle Rock books.
There are two Fraggle Rock books I have and a third that belongs to my brother.
The one that belongs to my brother is If I Were King Of The Universe, in which Junior Gorg dreams of being King, but then decides that he is happier being what he is. I remember Joel got that...
I don't have as many of these as I do books but I am going to list all the ones I do have:
Bert and Ernie Sing-Along. The first Sesame record I ever had.
Somebody Come and Play.
Ernie's Hits. My favorite track on this is The Listening Game.
Happy Birthday. I got this on cassette for my...
Just want to put forward my two cents.
Here in Australia, we used to get Elmo's World as a sperate programme. This is what I think should have happened all along. At the time of writing we just get Sesame Street weekdays at 8:30 on ABC, but there is no sign of Elmo's World. The only bad part...
Between my brothers and me, we had quite a lot of Sesame Street books, including a lot of the ones already mentioned. One book that no-one has mentioned was one we didn't have, but nevertheless, when I read it at a friend's house, it stuck in the memory for all time. It was called The Great...
I used to like Muppet Babies too. For a while it replaced Fraggle Rock as my fav Henson production, but I think Fraggle Rock has gone back to being my favorite. Nevertheless, I too miss Muppet Babies, and would certainly buy DVD's if they came out.
I would have thought that The Great Muppet Caper was Muppet Movie 2.
I don't know how I feel about this as I can see valid points on both sides of the augement.
If this is true, then Ken Snyder must have done that cartoon where the man plays his captial letter U like a guitar. You see, there was an episode of Roger Ramjet that started with the narrator saying something like, "As the episode begins we find Scotland Yard's greatest detective Armlock...
Not long ago I picked up some back issues of The Australian Women's Weekly that were printed in the early 70's, and some of them had a comic strip version of Sesame Street. It was written and drawn by Cliff Roberts. Does anyone know more about it?
I've seen Fraggle Rock Songs too. We rented it from the video store when I was 12. My brothers and I loved it. I must say until now I was never aware that there was one called Doozer Songs. 10 minutes does sound like a rip-off.
My favorite Fraggle is Red! :excited: I like her because she is energetic and I also like her positive outlook. Besides, there are those pigtails. Plus, I guess becuase Karen Prell did her voice.
It would sure be great if Fraggle Rock came out on DVD. That was one of my favorite shows and I watched it nearly all the time. I would certainly buy the DVD's if they became available here in Oz.
I remember seeing the Wembley and Gobo endings to the opening theme. I saw them when I was 12. I agree with Karen that the Boober one was the best, as it contrasted with the up-beat feel of the theme.
In my area, Fraggle Rock was shown on a station called BTV 6, which is now called WIN...
