I'm not sure I can come up with 88, but here are a few!
1. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
2. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
3. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
After those 3, these are just some of my favorites. Not necessarily in order.

I'll be Animal, naturally:
*Animal sees a chipmunk and stares at it with awe*
*Animal groans as if hungry*
*Animal chases the chipmunk up a tree*
Animal: Animal! Animal!.........ANIMAL!
*The chipmunk throws an acorn at Animal, but instead it hits Piggy* :D
Yeah, but I think at this point in time we're almost there! There are a few movies that are very original and have their own style, but most movies are the same style, same ending, same characterizations, same morals. Let's face it, I really don't think Hollywood is as creative as it used to...
Ever thought about a Signs 2? It really could be done, but probably with different characters. I mean, the scenario was that the aliens were defeated and left to go get reinforcements, right? So that would mean they were coming back. But M. Night Shyamalan has too many original ideas in his...
I agree on the "Into the West" opinions here. It was absolutely perfect to use that theme in the score as well. Howard Shore didn't overuse it, though, which easily could have been done. And Annie Lennox was amazing at the end, as well, so it added to the theme instead of taking away from it...
I saw King Arthur last night. It was everything I hoped it would be! I really liked the music, which is always a plus, and I really liked the characters. It was pretty gritty, but I didn't mind it most of the time. I also saw Harry Potter 3 finally...wish I wouldn't have. I hated it! But...
Yeah, do you guys think there will be a point when every original movie has been made and the rest will just be cheap copies of something that's already been done? I sure hope it doesn't come to that!
Wow, I'm glad that Emmerich has some taste. Most people in Hollywood do just make a sequel and repeat everything! It's good to know some of them are still trying to make original movies. And I loved The Day After Tomorrow! :)
I was reading the first of this thread and it was talking about an Indepedance Day 2. Is that still in the works? Sounds like it could be really stupid...or cool. :D
I saw Shrek 2 twice--once at the drive-in movies and once at the theater. I though it was really good, but I do think it's overrated. It's like the #6 all-time grossing film ever. That's pretty terrible...I mean, it wasn't THAT good!
Hollywood definitely is running out of ideas. Now, remakes like King Kong are a little different. But most of those are just a lack of new ideas! Come on Hollywood! Where's all the original stuff?
Ordinary is an awesome song! The only thing I didn't like, as far as film music goes, is that it wasn't incorporated into the film except for the credits. I mean, with "Into the West" in LOTR they only used the song on the credits but the theme was throughout the film. But I guess it is...
This is kind of abstract, but it applies somewhat. I'd like to see MY movie made! It's called The Third Warrior. It's a full-length script, and I can only hope principal photography will wrap before September is upon us!
I've never heard the song from School of Rock or seen the movie, but I've heard both are very good! ;) I always like it when a film composer and recognized artist (such as Howard Shore and Annie Lennox) get together and write a wonderful song just for a movie. It's awesome! :)
If you haven't already watched it on TV or the internet, you need to go and watch this 7 minute preview of The Village. It really explains a lot and gets me even more excited for JULY 30!
You'll need Windows Media Player...

I saw a TV spot last night for The Village that was absolutely amazing. The cinematography was absolutely incredible, and I already like the characters just from the previews. M. Night Shyamalan is brilliant as far as filmmaking goes!
