When The Sixth Sense came out in theaters I was completely out of the movie loop and didn't see it, but by the time Signs came out I was somewhat of a moviegoer. M. Night Shyamalan has had me hooked ever since, and The Village, his latest film, comes out July 30th.
I am very excited for...
Yeah, I agree. But of all the books they need to make into a movie, I think The Eye of the World is right up there at the top. It would be an awesome movie!
Although I have never seen Batman, I really think that Spider-Man 2 is a hard movie to beat as far as quality goes. It was *very* well put together. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it picks up a few Oscars, but you can never predict the Oscars. Who knows what is going through some of the...
That movie looks weird...but anyway, I think all the evidence we have suggests that Harry will die. But then again, it doesn't really matter to me! I'm not even into HP anymore!
I think the only way Rowling could finish off this series is with the death of her main character. Where else would she cap it off? That appears to be the only way that everything will be resolved. But I really don't like the way Rowling handles the death of characters in her books. The way...
It's interesting to look back on this thread two years later with the release of Spider-Man 2. The Spider-Man phenomenon has only grown since the first film was released, and I would have to say the second one is better than the first! Much more involved and well-done. But the first film was...
Fozzie Wozzie was genius enough to give me this great idea...if they ever made a Muppet version of The Wheel of Time (heaven forbid), which Muppets would play which characters? Fozzie Wozzie already said that Fozzie should be Lan. What do you guys think?
I think Animal would make a very...
Anybody interested in reading The Wheel of Time for the book club? I'm on book 3 right now. I think I'd better finish this series before I read anything else. It's driving me crazy! :halo:
Yes, but even if you know the good guy is going to win, the reason you go to see the movie is to see HOW they win. If you know how, then that kind of ruins everything. The story for Spider-Man 2 had me tossed around a bit, even though I figured the good guy would win. But you know, even if...
The Passion of the Christ has amazing music...at least, the stuff I've heard from it! I haven't seen the movie or heard the entire soundtrack, but what I have heard blew me away!
The percussion in it reminded me of a lot of Brian Tyler stuff (Children of Dune). Anybody have the soundtrack to...
I sure hope this IS true! I'm dieing for another Muppet movie, and after seeing how Muppet Treasure Island worked out I think this would be absolutely AWESOME!!!!!!!!! :halo: Animal would definitely have to have a role, though!
A world without Muppets would not be complete! I mean, I guess if I'd never had the Muppets around I wouldn't miss them. But it's a very sad thought not to have Animal to quote! "Bye bye!" "Woman!" :halo:
I'm not really sure! It's so cool to see all of the soundtracks/composers that other people are interested in, though. It seems to be almost unanimous that John Williams and Howard Shore are really great. Of course, they've both recieved Academy Awards for their work, so I guess that says it...
I really loved Spider-Man 2! The cinematography was much better, along with the story and characterization. I loved everything about it! But it takes a lot out of you!
I didn't really notice that until I had owned the "Great Muppet Caper" DVD for a while. Although, I think it fits right in! You don't really notice it when they're singing unless you put subtitles on!
Seriously...why would you want to put yourself through such a painful show? I haven't seen the preview for that, but it sure sounds painful to watch. Some shows are painful to watch, but they have something to them. Then some movies are just painful and brutal just to be painful and brutal!
