Most likely it was something in Zulu, the African language that they speak. By the way, Ladysmith also sang this song in a sketch where they appeared in person, along with Paul Simon. Since Ladysmith and Paul did a lot of recordings together, I guess they wanted him to join them. Or maybe that...
I've seen the letter D skit on Unpaved. I also saw one on the letter T. I think that one was on 123 Sesame Street. I didn't think they were so terrible. SS has probably showed sketches that are much worse than those. Just my two cents.
Hey dustinrn, it's cool that Sesame Workshop did that for you. I may ask them to do one for me someday. I would most likely buy the DVD myself and send it to them. Then it wouldn't be so expensive. I know that there's no guarantee that they'll do it, but it never hurts to ask.
I wonder if any members of this forum have the AC letter L segments? If anyone does, I'd like a copy of them. I have B, H, O, and R (courtesy of SSetta), and I'd love to have L also.
I asked for the DVD for my birthday. I'm pretty sure I'll get it, my parents usually don't let me down. I can't wait to see the telegram skit. It's been so long since I last saw that one.
One of my favorite Grover sketches is where Grover and Kermit talk about taking care of teeth. In the midst of this sketch, Grover says that to take care of your teeth, you should eat crunchy foods like bananas. Kermit then tells Grover that bananas are not crunchy. That still makes me laugh...
