Here is a segment I'd like to see, and I might actually use it in an upcoming outline.
Prairie Dawn visits "The Muppet Show" on Kermit's birthday and coerces Miss Piggy, Scooter, Gonzo, Fozzie, and a VERY reluctant Floyd to put on one of her infamous pageants, this one being about the life...
Ooh, thanks! I can't believe I forgot those!
Also Oscar the Grouch and his niece Irvine, and there was a segment on Sesame Street with a family of the Yip-Yip Martians.
There was also an entire "Elmo's World" devoted to families.
Don't forget:
Baby Natasha and parents (Ingrid and Humphrey, I believe)
Pa, Ma and Junior Gorg
The mother fish and her three babies from the Mark Hamill TMS ep
OTHER RELATIVES:
Kermit and his nephew Robin
Scooter and his uncle JP Grosse
Gonzo and his entire race (MFS)
The Gills...
A new version of the song is on "A Sesame Street Christmas". The only difference is that Olivia and David's parts have been redone with Hoots the Owl and Elmo.
SPECIAL GUEST STAR: TOBY KEITH
OPENING THEME
OPENING NUMBER: Mahna Mahna and the Snowths reunite and perform "Everybody's Song".

Waldorf: "That act was a...
Here's the Vet's Hospital skit I wrote with Boober as the patient.
ANNOUNCER: It's time once again for "Veterinarian's Hospital", the continuing story of a quack who's gone to the dogs...
JANICE: Here's the next patient, Dr. Bob!
(Rowlf pulls back the sheet to reveal a quivering...
I liked Today's Special too. Jeff Hyslop (one of the show's humans) went on to play the Phantom of the Opera in Toronto. Wish I had seen that, although he's a better dancer than he is a singer.
As far as non-Henson puppets...love the Letter People. I know Byron does too (I'm still workin' on...
I even thought of incorporating Philo and Gunge into an "At The Dance" spot. They'd be slow-dancing:
Gunge: "Boy, it's sure great that Marjorie gave us a night off."
Philo: "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Could you PLEASE dance in tempo? And remember, *I'M* leading!"
Floyd: Wash your fingers, arms and face
All: Do de rubber duck
Floyd: If you want to play good bass
All: Do de rubber duck
Boober: Wash like your body deserves
All: Do de rubber duck
Boober: Even right down to your NERVES! AAAHHH!
All: Do de rubber duck
My favorites include:
Harry Belafonte
Elton John
Paul Simon
Mark Hamill
Dizzy Gillespie (which I haven't seen in a LONG time)
Pearl Bailey
John Cleese (anything Python-related is fine by me)
Ethel Merman
Phyllis George
Connie Stevens (w/Bert and Ernie)

I think the purple Muppet kid you're thinking of is Marty, who sings "Has Anybody Seen My Dog?" with Grover.
I don't know what Same-Sound Brown looked like, but he was voiced by the late Northern Calloway (who also played David).

I could also see the TMS gang singing "Keep Christmas With You (All Through The Year)". THat's one they've never performed, despite the fact that they and the Sesame Street gang have performed the same Christmas songs. In fact, I'm often torn over which version of "12 Daze of Xmas" is the better...
