*Rita Moreno (she coulda done "America" from West Side Story")
*Cheryl Ladd
*Lesley Ann Warren
*Leslie Uggams
*Linda Lavin
*Petula Clark
*Liza Minneli
*BErnadette Peters
*Carol Burnett
*Gilda Radner
The Muppet Central Guides list a Columbia-Tristar (UK HMV Exclusive) DVD release in 2003.
It lists this on the Juliet Prowse, Peter Ustinov, Bruce Forsythe, Vincent Price, Twiggy, Ethel Merman, Steve Martin, Elton John, Julie Andrews, Peter Sellers, PEtula Clark, Bob Hope & John Cleese pages...
Does anyone know if the Dutch Best of The Muppet Show DVD boxsets with have the Charles Aznavour, Gladys Knight, Shirley Bassey, Candace Bergen etc have the Brian Henson intros?
Also does anyone know if the Charles Aznavour episode has "the old fashioned way" on it?

I just got the Time Life DVDs and while I'm loving each one, I can't believe they missed some of the best episode and included some of the worst episodes.
In particular I'm surprised Berndaette Peters, Glenda Jackson, Cheryl Ladd & Lesley Ann Warren were not included.
If I had to pick 45...
Whats annoys me even more is that Time Life had "Youve Got A Friend" on their releases. IF Time Life could obtain the rights tot he song, how could Disney (one of the biggest companies in the world) not.
I really shouldnt complain, cuz my 4 fave Season1 episodes were uncut:
*Connie Stevens...
Kylie Minogue (and her sister Dannii) are like my other favourite things aside from the Muppets.
When Kermit and Kylie sang "Especially For You" together it was a dream come true for me seeing my 2 fave things connect.
My avatar picture is from that special.

Is Gorgan Heap a male or female Muppet? I always believed it to be male, however in the opening sketch of the Don Knotts episode Gorgan says "What's the matter? Don't you like chorus girls?" referring to itself.

:sympathy:
The first episode I'll be watching is my all time favourite Muppet Show episode: Nancy Walker. : )
Then I'll watch the episodes I loved as a child: Bernadette Peters, Milton Berle, Judy Collins, Petula Clark, Jaye P Morgan & Rudolf Nureyev.
Sweetums almost ate Robin in 'The Frog Prince' if that counts.
Also in the Glenda Jackson episode she says about Sweetums something along the lines of: "I think he ate three. You better count the chickens".
Senor Wences was originally planned or Season 4 (as he is mentioned in the Phyllis George episode), however I don't think the episode was filmed until much later, he may have been busy that year.
When Scooter mentions "Senor Wences" in the Guest Star Song, the picture shown is not Senor Wences...
No, Doglion did not talk in the Lesley Ann Warren episode. It was technically a non-vocal musical number (a ballet), not a sketch.
The only spoken part of the number was the announcer introducing Lesley.
I'm suprised they had Crazy Harry playing a triangle. You'd think they woulda had him with a bomb. In fact, an explosion at that part of the theme would have worked well.
Its just strange from the questest musical instrument to a bomb (one of the loudest noises on earth).
Liberace sang "Eight Foot Two" as the finale in his Special Concert dedicated tot he Birds.
Shields & Yarnell sang "Make Em Laugh" as their closing number.
Edgar Bergen appeared in the "Consider Yourself" number. I dont think neither he, or Charlie McCarthy sang any of it tho.
