Beautiful Day tries to comb Kermit's Hair Skit

Yeah me too, first Kermit had an anything muppet display it's (er..HER) hair, then Beutiful Day comes in. Kermit, slow to realize he was a monster, panics and nervously ends his lecture as he gets his hair, or body, combed all over. I liked this skit very much.

    Monsters Look at C (1969)

What muppets were in this skit

The 'Yellow Submarine' skit, I think Beautiful Day Monster was one, who were the rest?

    Northern Calloway

I had just learned recently of his passing, it shocked me very much, as he was a favorite of mine.

    Who are the round-headed muppets?

My favorite 'Anything Muppet' skit is in the first SS episode with Gordon turning the five anything's into a nuclear family. If you watch closely as they are singing 'Consider yourself at home' you see there mouths are a bit out of sync with the lyrics, pretty funny actually.

    Who are the round-headed muppets?

Fatblue was my favorite 'Anything Muppet' hence why I use his name! :D

    What's your favorite letter segment?

WOW!! I'm impressed, you quoted every word of that skit to a 'T', no pun intended! :D I think the kids, like myself then, picked up quite a bit. I always liked that little flick really.

    70s musical skit

That skit is on the 'Muppet Magic' DVD/Tape, which has skits from the Ed Sullivan Show. I think he's adopted the name on this board of 'Manuh Manuh' because we never really knew an official name for the character. The ones without names I would always refer to as 'Character muppets', don't...

    70s musical skit

AHH! That's the famous 'Munah! Munah!' song! That skit was done on the Ed Sullivan show and later on The Muppet Show. The SS skit came in between. I guess you could say that muppet could be a Joe Cocker type. Never really thought much of it that way. It went: "Manuh! Manuh!" Then the back...

    This was a great skit!

LOL! Yeah, it kind of screams 1969 doesn't it?

    This was a great skit!

Anyone see the skit with the four muppets singing 'I am a great musician'? I saw this recently and thought it was cool!! I liked the early design of Jim Henson's muppets in this, with the stripes and buttons painted on to make them look like marching band musicians. Was this song an old song...

    Favorite multi-part Muppet sketches?

Boy, never knew that. Pretty interesting info.

    Favorite multi-part Muppet sketches?

I guess so, or early 1970. They never did show the third part of this skit most of the times, often, they would only show the first one and that was it! Doesn't make sense! At this point, Frank Oz was really beginning to find the voice of CM, so I'm guessing it was later in the...

How did the 'Yellow Submarine' skit go?

What I really mean is that I forgot who the characters were in it and how was the scene. It's all very vague to me because I was so young at the time.

    Favorite multi-part Muppet sketches?

There were 3 skits with Kermit explaining the letter 'K': First time he was about to explain, it fell of the wall 2nd time, the letter wilted on him. 3rd time, he finally explained with the help of cookie monster. At the end, CM thought of one more word with a 'K' "KARATE! HY-YAHH"...
