I thought the role call in the Secret Society of Poobahs was hilarious.

but i don't think many go from full screen to widescreen. most nowadays are shot in widescreen and then offered in either widescreen or pan and scan. but as far as a traditional tv goes yes...it would make more sense to want to watch a full screen movie. and i wouldn't want something that is...
and that's just the thing....A) the original broadcast was in widescreen but for some reason the first season dvd came out in fullscreen. B) it all comes down to the tv. i have a widescreen tv and watching a full screen dvd on a widescreen is just as annoying as black bars...which i don't mind...
that's why i stated "i know it isn't included" i was just speculating on what would make me want to rebuy. When The OC complete series came out and i already had bought all 4 seasons, I decided the complete set would be better because they redid the first season in widescreen and the original...
i just thought of another aspect that would get me to invest into the series over top of having already owned the other sets...while it is small and i know isn't included, the original openings for the terrible tunnel and the finger of light. now would that warrant a total rebuy of the set and...
I still just can't make my mind up about this. The only way I know I'd want to buy both while already having seasons 1-3 is if the stand alone and the complete series had different special features. but I'm guessing that the likelihood of that about as much as me winning the mega millions. but...
This set up for housing the discs is like the way they did it for the complete series of The OC. it's in a little book type thing with a place to hold the discs on the page. well, dvdempire still has their price for 99 dollars. but it looks like there's no free shipping...butttttttttttttttttt...
i really don't see the price being lowered too much below that. complete series set like this at a retail store...don't see being anything lower than 119.99...so i am really tempted to take the 10 dollar off 97 bucks at amazon.
looks like if you pre-order by the end of this month, you can save 10 dollars by doing the bill me later option and deal with their coupon code. If they would've just made the set 3 dollars more, could've saved 20 dollars. although i usually don't buy these from amazon, i usually wait for best...
let's face it. whichever route they chose would end up making someone unhappy...people would be mad cuz they brought out a complete set after people already bought all the individual sets...they're making us mad cuz they're doing the complete set without completing the individuals first. in this...
i think there should be some major major incentive for us to buy the complete series...like a mail in rebate or something to give us credit for having all the others too.
well, i know i'm going to be buying the complete set...i'm STILL hoping that there will be something special to make it worth buying the individual as well as i can't otherwise justify the purchase of the stand alone after buying the complete set if there's nothing special aside from simply...
i guess we gotta remember too that there is still 3 months for them to change their mind or make a different decision. i'll complain once the time is set that it's definitely not coming out, but like i said, i'm probably going to buy the whole thing anyway. in the back of my mind i always knew...
well, most likely i will be double dipping. it's just inevitable. it would be nice if it was worth the double dip though...even so that if they made exclusive extras for both releases...not just the whole box set. and it would be nice, even though perhaps a minor detail, if they restored...
i guess it is good that the show is being completed at least...unlike such disappointments like only getting season 1 of the jetsons or not releasing the last half of the last season of Jem.
