Whoever said this was a doofus. It's not the Muppets vs. Disney; Disney owns the Muppets now. So if anyone's not caring, it's Disney.
How can this person work in a Disney theme park and not...
I look forward to the idea of a new MuppetVision 3D. I want the original to be preserved for the ages, but new material needs to be rotated in every now and again. New material will bring people back to the attraction again and get them talking about Muppets, and that's a good thing.
Disney...
Mike, those interviews are really amazing. Thank you! I never knew Dave Goelz built the original Animal, Floyd and Zoot. I also didn't know Karen had a short-term regular character on Sesame, and Jerry had some really pointed things to say in pt. 4 of his interview of how the company's too big...
Did anyone else catch A Wrinkle in Time tonight? It was so much fun! A little overlong, but overall quite magical. I haven't had this much fun watching a movie in some time.
I screwed up when trying to record it, but if it comes on again or becomes available on DVD, it's a keeper.
Well, in the first episode, the Klingons looked like "Next Generation" Klingons though they looked different in the original series (which this predates); the calm and logical Vulcans were angry and emotional; they talked about Romulans (?) or some other species that won't even be discovered...
Well, the original series (and movies) and Next Generation are clearly the best. But some of the DS9 entries--The Visitor, Journey Beneath the Stars (??), Little Green Men--are considered among the finest Star Treks ever. It also had an ongoing storyline instead of just stand-alone episodes...
DS9 was way more interesting than either Voyager or Enterprise.
When will Paramount just take Star Trek away from Berman and Braga? Do they want B&B to completely run it into the ground?
Boober Gorg, it's always been Wallace Shawn. I remember it from its NBC airings.
Kim, I guess Jim just wasn't available to play Waldorf. People often mistakenly think Jim was absent because he had passed away, but the episode aired in Jan. 1990, four months before his death.
(sits in rocker, smacks gums together) We'll have to tell all these young whippersnappers what it was like back in OUR day on Muppet Central. ;)
