I never even considered the agent to be a villain. He was more mildly annoying than anything. And I agree that there was potential in having the director be the villain. Come to think of it, it sort of threw me off that he WASN'T the villain. Not that the movie needed a villain in the first...
There defiantly were some snarky elements that took me out of the film. From the commercials, Rhino irked me, but he wasn't so bad in the movie itself. I guess it's more of a case of overexposure than anything. I mean, one would think he was the star of the film from the commercials. That and...
That's true... Though personally, I can see more reason for it going wrong than right. I guess in my mind, it sounds okay written on paper or even if a character mentions it in passing, but to actually see it would just be too heavy. And adding humorous elements just doesn't seem like it would...
This guy has a memorable voice. I was just watching Dexter's Lab on Boomerang yesterday and thinking about how annoying Mandark is. I always wish I could punch most of the character's he's voiced in the face.
It's so funny because everytime I watch Rock-A-Doodle or The Polar Express or anything...
I don't think I would want to see Piggy's mother. Wasn't she supposedly treated badly by her mother? That sort of adds a serious level to her back story that I wouldn't want to see elaborated on. Especially if it were made humorous somehow. Though that's just how I feel about it.
I would love...
The first Gobo puppet looks quite younger than the Gobo we see throughout the rest of the series. I don't know if it was a conscious decision on the part of the design team or the writers to make him seem a but more grown up, but I do think it's true to say that the character really did come...
I like the colors in both pictures, and the way you draw them is so cute! I like your Muppet character, and the way you drew Scooter is especially adorable. Nice work!
By the way, it's a good idea not to copy from other pictures, especially if you don't have permission. Though even if you do...
I wouldn't mind seeing a project that mixes traditional puppetry mixed with Digital Muppets like Waldo, much in the same fashion as Muppet Vision 3D. I wouldn't want CG to be the dominant element though.
The Muppet version of The Frog Prince is my favorite rendition of the story. I remember watching it on Nickelodeon/Nick Jr. when I was younger. It was fun to see it again and realize I remembered most of it after all those years.
What an outstanding idea. Instead of asking "What's your sign?" you can ask "Which is your favorite Muppet?"
You can learn so much more about a person from that. :wisdom:
I recognized the name, though I didn't know who she was. I must have recognized the name from Rugrats and the Powerpuff Girls.
I never would have realized she voiced so many characters!
The link leads to a picture of a fashion model wearing an outfit made out of dozens of Kermit plushies on the Today Show website.
And I have to say, that is the oddest thing I've seen all day.
Lovely! Pastels I assume? Or is it colored pencils? Either way, I really love your coloring technique.
And you have their personalities and mannerisms down pat. The individual characters really shine through.
I have been looking forward to this comic even before I got a mini-comic sample from Mr. Langridge last summer at Heroescon, and I am still looking forward to it with great anticipation, but the coloring irks me a bit. It seems very gradient heavy and has a bit of an unpleasant 90's Photoshop...
Didn't Conan originally meet harsh criticism when he took over late night? I don't care for Jimmy Fallon (He just isn't funny to me), but I guess people should give him a chance before getting out the pitchforks and tar and feathers.
I think my concern is that Conan's humor may be too much for...
